Heard this place was being forcibly shut down, which is a real shame as this organisation has really helped out a lot of people in the community who are doing it hard.

All the workers and volunteers are amazing and kind and always there to listen when you just need to talk. They're so helpful and always willing to lend a hand. This place deserves more

I volunteered to drive one of their buses for a week whilst they looked for a driver!
It was amazing to see the work they do at their recycling site (a house with the whole back yard area undercover with every cm used in sorting and dismantling their donations) to raise funds so they can offer respite care for the Parents/Carers and social activities for the disabled!
Having spent time with their disabled clients and seeing the commitment of their Volunteer workers (who are like one big happy family) I found myself becoming adopted into the family!
I continue to be amazed by the amount of recycling we do with the support of charitable Business people and Residents in the Liverpool/Fairfield Community!
Without finding a driver within the week, I decided to give them a bit more time... that was 11 years ago!

Used to have a regular sticky beak through the 2nd hand goods on offer, am a book addict, and love kitsch tat like old egg timers. Noticed how Rita treated the disabled helpers there. Just made me cringe and feel sad. Getting a "what? they don't understand nothin" spat out at me whilst she puffed away on the ever present ciggie. Not cool. I know they do a lot for the community, just wish they would care more about individuals.

Giving this organisation 1 star on account of how disgustingly rude Carol the manager is.

I've frequented this place regularly to look for books and kids toys and I was so appalled at how she would speak to staff and customers.
Although I have had no personal dealings with her, and she's never been directly rude to me - I can safely say that I have never observed such deplorable behaviour in any kind of company or organisation.
