It's woolies at the Grove & changed a bit. Poor staff members have regular thieves to deal with on a daily basis. Should be a cop permanently fixed there. He would have to be quick that little mongrel on a pink scooter about 8 years old will alone keep the cops busy. But anyway it's woolies so you are going to pay through the nose for anything you get.

Huge lines of trolleys, on the busiest day of the week & they put the worlds slowest checkout people on to man only 2 open registers. The guy serving us couldn't work out what anything was (argued with the person in front that a carton of Coke was Fanta & physically checked it multiple times). Maybe Woolworths can invest some of their price gouging profits into comprehensive staff training, or putting on another 16 year old for the Saturday rush...

The new playground is good but why not put a drinkable fountain in there for the children

Besides woolworths outrageous pricing in all stores... this store is lacking in many areas... Trolleys need coins to be used, which is extremely inconvenient and just another way for this multi-million dollar profiting company to save more money, whilst we the customer do the work of unpayed employees...
brings me to my second point... if you go here. expect to put all your shopping through self-serve as there is never anyone on the checkouts... again.. woolworths profiting big time whilst we do the work for them with no discount on our shop.
Sad times ahead.

The coin required for trolley sucks as you can never find a place to retrieve your coin as there are never enough slots to put your trolley chain in as there are three different sized trolleys, one for ALDI and two for Woolies and you never have the right trolley. The underground parking sucks when you have a trolley as the road is harsh and it's not easy to wheel a heavy trolley. The girls and guys at the checkout are pleasant and helpful. The place is always busy AF. Not even going to mention the disgusting prices they have on food. It's a national shame.

On my regular shop forgot my purse however only realised once I had checked out my groceries. The checkout lady, Adeline, paid for my groceries with no hesitation. I returned the next day with the money, very grateful for her, she got me out of a very difficult situation and definitely needs recognition.
