BBQ chicken at dinner time?
Forget about it.
6:30pm and the display is shiny and clean. Staff still in the deli. Same thing every time. Are you even trying, Woolworths?

Front counter lady, middle age working on Sunday 2nd was incredibly rude, disrespectful and lacked empathy or emotional intelligence. I came
in to exchange (not even return) some tea bags bought from the same store and my partner misplaced the receipt at the time of purchase a week ago. One minute she says she can reprint my receipt if I know the date and time, next minute she says she doesn’t know how to and without a receipt she couldn’t exchange my product as she doesn’t know how much it costed. I’m sure she knew how to reprint just couldn’t be bother, I’m sure she could find out how much the items costed since it was a week ago but honestly, does it matter? It would have costed $15 altogether which the money would have still gone back into the company anyway, how much of a non empathic human can you get? I honestly didn’t want the tea bags to go to waste and she proceeded to tell to throw it out myself. You’re telling customers to respect workers but customers are meant to tolerant disrespectful workers. Wow, I’m speechless.

They have a selection of some unusual foods but this is an experience I have never had before: an item scanned incorrectly and i didn’t notice it until I had left the shop, having paid for it. When I questioned the front counter female staff member, I was told that because I used the self checkout and I scanned the item incorrectly, it was my fault. I was offered the difference between the charged price and the item’s stated price but was not offered it for free - notwithstanding the scanning code of practice. I declined the item and returned it. I find it a huge waste of everyone’s time and resources.

The items could not be scanned when checking out. I called the waiter twice and she was still chatting with other people. The service was terrible! You are here to work, not to chat.

Asked Denise where the tattoo aftercare was. she decided to give us her false opinion about the link between hep C and tattoo. I found this extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and disgraceful, especially because we were just customers who did not ask for an opinion, and also because her claims were completely untrue and obviously based off exaggerated stories.

The Woolworths in Baulkham Hills is a store without responsibility or a sense of morality. Manager Andrew lacks integrity, fails to solve problems, and makes empty promises. For a large corporation, treating customers this way is unacceptable, showing neither respect nor honesty. Such behavior is disgraceful and will damage the trust customers place in any company! If the issue with the 10% bonus on the gift card is not properly resolved, I will continue to appeal until I take it to court for arbitration!

Don’t let the new person at the counter—she charged me for snow peas instead of green beans, and now I've been overcharged.

The following has never happened before in literally decades of shopping there, but needs to be mentioned:-
As I was being checked out at the supposedly "express" area, an off-duty staff member came up behind me within INCHES and set her own purchases down right alongside mine. Since I have reasons of my own for needing to take the social distance rules seriously (especially during an outbreak) I quickly moved to a safe distance, at which point she asked, "Is there a problem?" When I responded as above (and pointed to the tongue-in-cheek message on the back of my shirt) she responded by being a SMART ARSE and telling me there was ample safe distance between us, despite knowing DAMNED WELL that this was ONLY because I HAD MOVED AWAY FROM HER. When I pointed this out, she instantly changed the subject to the supposed "rudeness" of MY tone and manner, knowing DAMN WELL that (1) I only answered because she asked, and (2) even THAT much would not have happened if SHE had taken the social distance rules SERIOUSLY IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!
