Wollongong Botanic Garden is a vast and beautiful space, but walking in the sun can be challenging. The night cinema events seem interesting. There is a good variety of plants, and exploring the garden takes time. Walking uphill in summer can be tiring. It was a quiet day when we visited, so picnic, restroom, and water facilities were limited.

Nice gardens with flowers in the warmer months. Good playground with a big sandpit. Good trails for long walks with kids. Some areas definitely need upgrades but for a free day out, it's worth a visit.

So beautiful, so many different flowers and plants, the colours and scents were amazing, strolled around for a few hours, there's also a kids fenced play area, a few BBQ's, They looked electric, didn't have a close up look, well worth the visit!
Be aware of the toilets, they are so low, I thought it was a kid's toilet, almost fell off 😂 looked at the others and they were all the same, quite funny expecting to sit down and you go lower than expected. 🤪
I recommend visiting, pack a picnic or have a BBQ.

A wonderful piece of park, located near the busy city center of Wellington and Sydney. It is a great place as it has different types of flowers. Blossoming in different seasons. Located at 40 Murphys Avenue, Keiraville, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This is a beautifully designed parkland that is a great spot to wander along the walking trails. I enjoyed my day here so much and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. It’s very wheelchair accessible along the walking tracks which is very convenient. There’s many places that you can sit and relax and there’s child friendly areas. Also great for a picnic with the family or friends. There’s tables situated around the gardens. Toilets are available including disabled toilets. There’s plenty of wildlife to be seen from lizards 🦎 and the bird 🦢 are amazing. The range of plants 🌱 and trees 🌲 is so beautiful along with the flowers 🌷. Simply gorgeous ❤️. Also, there’s a wonderful little children’s playground area. I had a great day here. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

Always take the kids here during school holidays, never really changes but it's still just a nice place to have a chill picnic with the kids
