Great location to stay.
When I arrived there for a first time, a bird came to my accumulated documents to have inspection!

I stayed here for three years and absolutely loved it! The apartment was well maintained, had all the basic furnitures and appliances. Had some really good housemates and made a lot of friends along the way. Amazing staff who are always on call and ready to help at all times. It was very convenient considering I was so close to the uni and to the mall - the shuttle buses were always running so I had zero transport costs. All in all, it was worth the money. Highly recommended for international students.

Thick headed people!!

Wrong address on booking website which made us have a 30min walk for nothing.

2 guests were given a single bed room and after arguing a double bed room.

Questionable cleaning of common areas such as bathrooms and toilets.

Tried to make amends to booking from the 1st day but changing versions of policies from all staff including the manager prevented me to do so.

Got charged even before arriving else I would have just blocked the card and never come/stayed.

They are basically here to get your money and have you shut up.

I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED!!!!!! Please don’t stay here!!! Shortly after I booked my card was charged about a week before I checked in. As soon as I arrived they said my card was declined and I said no I was charged about a week ago they said no you have to pay so I did and I also had to pay $100 key deposit which I would of thought I would of got back by now but no I didn’t. As soon I checked out I went to the bank to check and I was double charged my card was never declined they now owe me over $250 now I have been doing the rush around trying to get my money back so please don’t stay here. Either way the apartment was so dirty and it was so unhealthy. I will be going back to Sydney next week and I definitely won’t be staying here not never again!!! This place was definitely the worst experience of my life!!!

1 Star is too much for this place.
The rooms are clean and protected from the elements. That's the only positive thing. Beds and pillows weren't comfortable. For an apartment there were no proper kitchen utensils, beyond a toaster and a kettle. There is also a dangerously high fine for triggering a smoke alarm even if you do manage to cook something. Thankfully ventilation and vigilance was not a problem for us.

They charge $7 a day for parking despite having plenty of space, and when the nearest off-campus parking would be 2-3km away.
The reception/service is run by Students who don't know/aren't incentivised to know how the systems work or what accommodation staff are meant to do.

When one of our group accidentally locked themselves out of her room, the emergency out of hours contact was highly intoxicated and only able to assist her with the help of a less intoxicated friend.

On top of this, I am still chasing up a refund because I was overcharged and it seems quite obvious no one is actually being paid to do the job of managing short stay bookings at this facility, so much so that not one of the people I spoke to was able to assist with a simple change to the booking.

Lastly for smokers, this entire, multi-kilometre square campus is Non Smoking. Despite the large swathes of open air and balconies, you can go to hell it seems.

Utterly useless as a place of accommodation. There are budget hotels nearby and easier to access.

Got a mate a room there between new houses. He stayed 6 weeks. Very good value though beds a bit ordinary. The place consists of share serviced apartments. 5 private rooms common kitchen lounge and 2 bathrooms. It's basic but very good value close to macarthur square and station. Staff very obliging . Can recommend for short or slightly longer stays in Parkside quiet surroundings very good parking. Self wash laundry available

Thank you so much. The only thing I can say to make here better, is accepting posts directly because I had lost many bank cards in Penrith and requested twice! Or trice!!
And if Campbelltown village has a direct postal address apart from Penrith.

Cheap and good value. Simple accommodation in a new building. Be willing to accept small things missing, like an elevator or in-room air conditioning (an effective heater is present). The common room has a AC.

Be prepared to pay an extra fee for car parking per day. No undercover or dedicated parking but the campus is safe with their own security.

The room had spare pillows in the cupboard but no extra blanket. I wasn’t cold but would have preferred a thicker (or second) blanket.

Location isn’t within walking distance to shops or restaurants but I’ve found the Uber Eats drivers know the campus well & there is a shared full kitchen & lounge area to prepare and eat meals and relax.

Bathrooms are clean, as is the whole building etc. I’m a return visitor but if the price increases, it won’t be worth the value for what other nearby options offer for the price range.
