Absolutely gorgeous spot! Was amazed at how well established the wetlands already are and all the different bird sounds around is a testament to that. Is a must see if one passes through West Wyalong!

Arrived in June. The boardwalk to the viewing platform is quite short, perhaps 350 metres. Not raining, but the ground was too wet to go off the boardwalk, so our visit was quite brief. Quite lovely flora, but with only a few birds around.

What was upsetting was the large glass display case by the carpark. It shows original Aboriginal art, implements, and painted artefacts from local children. The display is title "Respect", but there is no respect from the Management of the Wetlands. It seems not to have been cleaned for a very long time and the exhibits and the floor of the case are covered with dead insects and various detritus that has gained access somehow through the glass panels.
