Weddings in the Wilde is amazing! From the start, Abi, Alistair, Simone and the rest of the WITW team were so easy to communicate with, having a shared folder with all forms and spreadsheets needed for us to create the perfect wedding weekend. They gave such a cool and calm vibe from the start and this extended all the way through the weekend of our wedding. Alistair even helped to straighten my veil right before I walked down the aisle! The venue is stunning with such beautiful bushland surrounding it. All of their vendor recommendations were fantastic and so easy to work with. We loved that we were able to make our wedding a full weekend as there are so many accommodation options on-site for guests to stay. Adding to that, there is a massive 'homestead' area for the bridal party to get ready on the day, with several other group areas for people to hang out and catch up during the downtime. Our guests made full use of the pool, to the extent our photographer had to fish the groom and groomsmen out of there to go and get ready for the ceremony! WITW is the perfect canvas to do with what you wish for your day and the team there are absolute 10/10s!

Wow so much to say about this place. Abi was amazing at helping me plan the logistics of our wedding and so so accommodating to help us fit within our budget, letting us use so many of their things. She allowed us early access to set up for our 2 day wedding and we used most of their furniture to create a beautiful relaxed reception. The reception area looked magical with a tipi tent and festoon lighting. Abi and Alistair were so incredible on the night and helped out so much without being asked. Everyone complimented on how beautiful the venue was. The added extras of the fire buckets, post reception tipi chill tent and Alistair on the didgeridoo all added to the incredible atmosphere.

I was so so happy with this venue, it was the perfect forest setting and could accommodate all our guests over 2 nights.

Just perfect for us. Would highly recommend!!!

We had our wedding at weddings in the Wilde in late February. Abi, Alastair and Simone were a dream team who helped us build the day that we wanted, and stayed accessible and tremendously helpful throughout the day and night as a whole. The amount of on-site supplies for seating, decorating and catering helped to keep our costs down, and also saved us once we decided to last minute shift things indoors due to weather. We were able to have friends and family stay on-site with us which made the weekend all the more special. The facilities are slightly dated, but have everything you need and bring everyone closer together. The location of this site was also brilliant, with plenty of beautiful sites for guests to visit throughout the weekend, and the natural landscape of the site itself was stupendously lush, and made the weekend feel like a dream. Thankyou WITW team - would recommend!

I cannot recommend Weddings in the Wilde enough, the setting is absolutely stunning and Abi and Alistair truly go above and beyond throughout the process. All of our guests were in awe of the ceremony clearing and surroundings, and it was so special having a three day celebration where we could spend lots of quality time with our loved ones. We honestly cannot thank WITW enough for contributing so much to our wedding day and for all of the thoughtful, hard work they put in to make the day a success.

I just had my wedding at Weddings in the Wilde last weekend, and to say we had the perfect weekend wouldn’t even cover it! The venue is absolutely stunning, we didn’t stop being complimented on what an amazing venue we had chosen the whole time we were there.
Guests are able to stay at the venue which is fantastic, it means you can enjoy a great weekend with all guests and have a recovery brunch the next day using their great kitchens and bbqs!
Staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us set up the day before. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful venue and would 100000x over recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun, relaxed vibe in the most naturally gorgeous setting (we didn’t need to do much at all in terms of styling as the venue is naturally perfect).

We had the best day ever for our wedding, Abi and her team were so helpful and did everything they could to make our day as special as it could be and kept it very organised. Through hiccups like COVID and rain they'd everything they can within the guidelines to make it all happen with respecting all situations from government to our needs. The Venue is truly the most beautiful place with green and beautiful trees and amazing for photos. We can't recommend Weddingsinthewilde enough and highly recommend to anyone looking to DIY and have exactly what you want at the wedding. Rooms were clean and venue was ready and in shape ready for us to have our day.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!!! Not only is this venue a beautiful forest retreat perfect for a festival wedding dream, but the team at Weddings in the Wilde go above and beyond to give you everything you want and more.

Last year we were 3 days out when we had to cancel due to COVID-19, and at a time when no-one knew what was going to happen, these guys made cancelling and rescheduling the easiest it could have been! Then a year on, our wedding celebration happened to fall on a 1 in a 100 year flood weekend.

These guys were dedicated beyond the usual venue assistance, they dug trenches, helped moved gazebos, stocked fire pits, decorated our cabin room and much much more. They put in place precautions so we could thoroughly enjoy the whole weekend, it felt like we were in the middle of a crazy storm and these guys were building around us to keep us safe without us realising- so we were able to have a carefree memorable wedding.

We can’t thank you guys enough for everything you did this year and last year.
