A huge “Thank you” to all the staff at the Wagga Base Hospital, after a recent visit I was treated with nothing but respect, can’t speak highly enough of my care.
Special mention to medical student Yan, she was so amazing, also to Keiran who put me at ease, and everyone else involved in my care.
This was in emergency, a bunch of Angels😇thank you for your kindness and professional care.

I have been a patient in a psychiatric ward in Katoomba and Nepean, not several times but the care and after care in Wagga is way above those. They got time to listen and have real compassion. I had a fall, my own fault by not using my walker to get back to the bathroom. I really hurt myself and everybody was very concerned but… nobody told me off!

Emergency service is not an emergency service. Been at the ED since the morning. Waiting on a bed for my child. At almost 9pm still no room available and staff just keep saying another couple of hours to wait. Had to go and get something to eat as well. Very disappointed. Seems like someone will die in the ED due to the long wait

Look! Unsurprisingly, the first point of contact, the uncooperative current switchboard team, is very harsh on people, regardless of who they are, trying to use a service through them, even though there's been a slight change. Unfortunately, their line is, for some reason, unclear and frequently disconnects calls, especially cell calls, when transferring or trying to connect you to a unit or other areas. This is unacceptable due to the administration's management; it is unclear why constructive feedback does not seem to be reachable or why improvements are not considered based on ongoing informed experiences. And I'm referring to second hand or more than one period of experiences with great unfortunates unimaginably sometimes very unprofessionally with somebody who is well aware of what they can do and should do on very important matters not sure either would told to not assisted by someone little higher who wouldn't care anyways, as matter of fact occionally very unethical to the point either hanging up on you or just transfering to a different they feel it is needed or want or just simply hang up once knowing it is somebody who is constantly need not even to remind you but just move on for the sake of priority and time importancy and help themselves do what needs to be done taking my own time.

Nevertheless, further information exists, but its disclosure is currently constrained by verification limitations. While committed to mitigating negative impacts, patience is wearing thin due to the protracted and opaque timeframe for resolution, particularly given the lack of transparency regarding holiday schedule adherence. Although occasional delays near public holidays or on Friday afternoons are understandable, the significance of this matter demands immediate attention, rather than abrupt interruptions of conversations. I will provide a more positive update shortly. I anticipate collaboration with relevant personnel, including general management, to prevent future occurrences of this nature :).

Went to the Dental Clinic today for an emergency appointment, my toddler tagged along too. The staff were very polite and accomodating, pausing several times for my toddler to be curious, as well as beautiful consideration for his sensitive hearing, showing him which tools made noise and what the tool did (so he wouldn't be frightened).
I felt zero pain during my procedure, everything was explained as it happened and overall a fantastic experience.
Very grateful. Thank you 🙌

I’d give this trashy, disgusting, pathetic, poorly staffed, with the staff they DO have there who are about as useless as an extra a$$hole on your forehead, a minus million if it were at all possible.
They get the $hits with you if you end up having to go back there because they do such a dogs breakfast of a job the first time, and they treat you like $hit on a shoe.
I’ve had nurses walk past me when I’ve had to call out “excuse me, nurse, I really need your help!!!” with blood pouring from my mouth as I was hacking up a storm due to RSV I got the day before when I’d been FORCED to go in by the ambulance “service”, had the nurse stop, look at me right in the face and her eyes have caught mine, and she WALKED AWAY.
No word of a lie. She stopped dead, as she was walking along with no obvious urgency, see me spurting blood EVERYWHERE, and decided she’d continue on, though there was absolutely NO DOUBT she saw the intense he!! of a situation I was in, but decided she couldn’t be bothered with me.
Then she went to the nurses station, where I was desperately trying to drag myself, and she continued to talk about her Tinder date, and show photos of the guy to the 3 other bored nurses and laugh about what an idiot he was!!!!
If I hadn’t been literally dying already, this would have completely finished me off. I still cannot BELIEVE this happened!!!
I went in after a suspected heart attack (the head of the ambulance came out to give me a serve, because I had been calling 000 repeatedly and hanging up because I kept passing out in agony whilst I was on the phone, so then I guess they decided they’d send someone out to scare me out of ever doing it again (because they thought I was prank calling them?), then this guy saw what a horrendous state I was in, so he took my vitals and FORCED me to go in the ambulance because I was so very obviously unwell, and they’d be sued to blazes if something happened to me, and I asked him to promise me they would at least give me something for the pain before moving me because I have just had 2 8 hour days of spinal surgery, to which he said absolutely, of course, they wouldn’t do it any other way, whereupon he left and let 2 newbies take over, 2 people who didn’t follow through with this plan.
After waiting for hours upon hours in the emergency department, next to what I later found out were patients with RSV, who were admitted for at least an overnight stay, I was basically ignored, though I was in a hypertensive crisis (180/120) pulse rate 120, and having seizures.
They proceeded to use me as a Guinea pig (as per usual) because I have such shocking veins they needed to use an ultrasound machine to find one for a cannula, so despite my desperate pleading for pain relief and to please just get the cannula in because them digging around in there was really really hurting me and kept snagging my nerves in my tiny arms, I was again ignored, and had to listen to the more “senior” doctor telling the intern what to do and what NOT to do, whilst using me as an example, in which she kept putting the cannula in the wrong way, and pushing it in too far, then dragging it back out again, and just showing off their new high tech machine, taking 10 minutes at least to do what the machine was made to do in a minute or less.
By that time, I was as completely squirted with blood everywhere, even on my face and all down my arms and legs, and was never even given any IV pain relief the whole time.

If you have endometriosis I recommend driving to a different hospital. TWICE I’ve been sent away to “see your GP” even though your gp says “go to hospital “. What a joke. If I’m ever in a car crash I hope I get sent to any other hospital than this one
