I regularly come here with my kids. They have a good collection of toys and books. The prices seem to have risen recently, but then I wouldn't know how Pierce second hand stuff accurately. I have still found some great deals and the kids enjoy spending their pocket money.

I visited today (12/10). The prices were quite expensive which is not my major issue with the place. My issue is how filthy it is. There's a distinct mould smell as you enter (more than other op shops). Loads of white dots on the ground around the jewellery, the rug near the shoes is appallingly dirty, the back half had a lot of stuff on the ground. The change rooms are filled with lint and hair. My top fell on the ground and I really didn't want to have to put it back on. The flooring in the back is so scuffed that it looks even dirtier than it is. It felt quite ironic that there was a staff member sweeping at the time. There's also a super creepy manikin hidden in a corner which gave me a bit of a fright. Highly recommend that they purchase a vacuum and maybe even give the floor a polish.

This was my first time visiting this Vinnies and I enjoyed my experience. The prices were decent (way cheaper than my local vinnies) and the staff were lovely. The only thing that would benefit this store is being bigger. It took a while before I got look at of the store - mostly the shoe section.

Last Sun 19/5/24 I bought two ladies bag in this shop and when paying for them one of the counter staff (with dark skin tone) was very rude and scrutinized/searched my purchases inside out as if I was buying them too cheap or priced too low. Her rude facial expression and attitude disgusted me, who was she to treat customers like that? General prices in Vinnies already sky-rocketed and set by staff who had no idea the realistic worth but we still buy there for a charity reason, but not there to be offended like that. I regularly buy from Vinnies for charity reason and I spend a few hundred dollars a month over there in average. But some of their staff made me sick and I am not coming back to Vinnies again if they keep staff who treat customers so poorly.

I like Vinnies because I often got good old and classic stuff for the house, first time I visited this place. I was surprised the price mostly is overprice for used! Although the cloths from Shein, Kmart, Target are over $15 and some of them very old, did you check the original price before you set up the price.

Used to love shopping here but went in acouple weeks ago and must be new Management, it used to be good but now no Hello or smile when I walked in,
The shop was empty and no cardigans or jackets under $30
All jackets are $30-$50
Absolutely disgustingly high prices
I hope West Ryde Vinnies is ashamed and embarrassed

Cheap brands like Shein and Target are being sold for triple the price here
Do yourself a favor and just go to Save The Children across the road. 10x more friendly and affordable prices than West Ryde Vinnies
