Extremely overpriced. I overheard a customer advising the cashier that they found an item which was marked up almost double to what it retails for at Kmart, and the cashier advised that this is charity store and that the goal is to make the most money to help people. Which is understandable but also as the customer advised the cashier, people shopping at charity shops usually don’t have alot of money! Why would they purchase something from there when they can buy it full price for half price at the actual store the item was from.

Used to drive out of my way to visit this store, they have changed everything including their prices. Definitely a waste of time going now and I don’t know who makes their prices but $12 for a pair of Kmart pj pants is ridiculous, you can buy them new for under $8

Ridiculous prices for what it is. The only thing that was priced accordingly was the books. Clothing was priced the same, if not more than the prices you'd pay for it brand new.

Only plus is that they do have a decent sized selection of things.

And the cashier was very impersonal and seemed inconvenienced.

Used to go out of my way to visit and donate to this store but my last two visits I've been followed and surveillanced by staff as I walked around browsing. Staff dont show any interest, energy or enthusiasm to welcome guests as they walk through the door into the store but muscle up the energy to tail customers. Also as others reviews have commented on inflated prices. I donated a new pair of sneakers to this Charity shop that I paid $10 in a retail store and I saw them on the shelf in this store marked $50.... Locals are donating massive amounts of goods and the variety of turn over of items in store is low and over priced. Vinnies Management Please Secret Shop at this store on more than one occasion and see for yourselves.

I visited this shop every week and used it like a library for my parents who love to read. I would buy approximately 6 books every week and return these books the following week. Recently the book prices have doubled in price to the point where I can find the same book at Big W for the same price. I mentioned this to the manager who dismissed my comments with a hand wave. Certainly won’t be shopping here again nor will I be donating and I will be supporting the other charity shops in the area who don’t take advantage of other peoples charity

Very very helpful staff. Found the perfect settee the minute I walked in -$120 with matching cushions. I've bought many items for car camping here. Plus Christmas presents for family. Go here for stocking fillers.

So yeah, been shopping here since I moved into town back in 2003. (Yes still a blow in, only a few more years and once I get a horse I will be local) Anyhow we had an American fella staying in town and he though as it was summer in America and Australia is always hot he did not need a jacket. So we took him to Vinnies and he bought a lovely designer jacket for $7. Well that was it. For the next two weeks everywhere we went he was telling people how amazing Australia is where a fella can buy a jacket for $7. And it was a nice jacket. he showed literally everyone we met. So yeah I am giving you 5 stars from Jim Cooper of @sharpbycoop photography on Instagram. Worlds best knife photographer. Shopper at Vinnies Picton.

Way overpriced for a charity shop that sells donations. It is not a privately run second hand retail shop, it is a charity. Rarely find anything anymore or if I do it is sometimes close to retail price and in some cases over. I used to drop in regularly, not anymore.
