24 hours drop off recycling but when you head there they will inform you that’s they only accept cardboard on Saturday waste of time had to drive for Almost 28 minutes to hear this yet on their website the advertise as 24 hours recycling

It's called "public drop off" on the internet, but unless you have a tip tray you can't use this facility. It would be useful to.know this before you had to drive out there with a load of stuff to dump. Eastern creek isn't too far away, but it would still be easier not having to drive out there to learn that you should have gone to Eastern creek

I'll just go out and purchase a tip truck for the times I want to use this facility! NOT! Usually a public drop off means people with utes and trailers etc. can get rid of their stuff. Paying the over the top fees are hard enough, this mob just make it ridiculous. No wonder this city is becoming a dumping ground for peoples rubbish.

The signs were very confusing.
Came to drop off cardboard and half the signs say open until 1pm on Sundays (we arrived at 12:30pm) and half of them say closed. There was even a VMS board inside the locked gates that said "Site Open"

Also when I called the line it says open until 1pm on Sundays

No public drop off unless you have a tip truck.

As the only transfer station in Fairfield area the local council needs to force them to allow waste disposal otherwise loads of rubbish end up dumped on footpaths and in the local bush.

Checked the opening hours on web (see pic) and confirmed over the phone that Wetherill Park Suez is opened 24 hours. My husband left work early so he could go do a drop off green waste - got there at 3:45pm to a closed gate and someone confirming that they actually close early. Waste of time - there is people that don't have time to spare and rely on the information found / given. Missed informed twice.

Have used the tip twice in current lockdown as 'essential service', get there today to see a huge flashing sign - household rubbish is not 'essential'.

What a joke. Rubbish is rubbish... it's either an essential service or it's not.

Why was there no issue two other times in the last 10 weeks?

Do NOT go to this tip, they do not seem interested in working. Their opening hours say open until 4:30, we drove almost an hour out of the way, got there at 4:10 and the gate was closed. From other reviews seems they just close whenever they feel like it. Opening hours, whatever that means.
