My Worst Educational Experience with UNLV Educational Outreach

I have paid for several courses with UNLV Educational Outreach, and on four separate occasions, they canceled at the last minute, each time citing "not enough students enrolled." The most ridiculous experience was when I signed up for the Accent Reduction for American English course. The classroom was ready, with the course name displayed on the door, but nobody from the administration ever showed up. Three of us waited for more than 30 minutes, and no one came to check on us, no one welcomed us, and no staff was present at all. After waiting longer, we decided to leave in frustration.

Days passed, and we never received a call or email to explain what happened. It was only after we sent a formal complaint letter that they responded, saying the course was canceled due to low enrollment. This response came after we rearranged our schedules, changed plans, and sacrificed time to accommodate this course. The lack of respect and communication was shocking and unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of organization and commitment to students. If you value your time and money, I strongly advise against signing up for any courses here. Highly disappointing.
