I'm not yet sure how my studies here will turn out but the first impression of the University is that it's dashingly picturesque. The staff here are also quite friendly and helpful, which is a good indicator.
Will definitely come back to update this review as the program commences and goes on.

Update 1: Semester 1 has been wonderful. There were a few hiccups here and there but overall, the engineering faculty delivers, the university is responsive, and everyone is so nice. Work hard, be proactive, and know where to contact and your issues are solved in a blink. I also got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity here, which is something I couldn't be more grateful for. Looking forward to the next semester.

I had an interesting time at UOW between 2014 and 2015 and it's definitely a place that I would highly recommend to others. A great university with excellent resources and learning environment.

This university wasted my time and money. My marketing courses were outdated and did not offer any practical assessments. I don't feel like I'm much further ahead than I was before I completed my Graduate Certificate in Marketing.

My first degree was in journalism at USC which proved to be far more useful and up-to-date with recent trends.

I wish I saved my money and studied elsewhere.
I'm leaving with a piece of paper and that's about it.

Masters and Bachelors students are placed in same classes. Why would you have 2 separate programs if you are teaching the same thing?

Little to no support from the higher management. Complete disregard for valid requests made by students. They will drag on requests needlessly just to reject it at the end without any proper explanation or reasoning.

So if you're thinking of coming to UOW, just don't. They say they care, but you're just a number to them

No good for online/ distance study.
Despite offering postgrante courses 'entirely online' for all the busy adults... they still require you to be 'live' during online tutorials!!! ? its no longer 2019 people.

Online material (powerpoint) is often unreadable and NOT posted online.
Lectures are often NOT recorded, so bad luck if you cant be 'live'.
One subject i just completed required senior staff to step in and remark all the essays TWICE?.
Another 'senior' staff member has only just Finished her Ph.D, like 3 weeks ago, Despite running multiple courses at Masters level. ?.

This place is a waste of money. If you are international student you can find better universities in Melbourne or Brisbane. Online students, check out Deakin or UNE instead.

I was here doing MBA and then completed Master of Business Systems, from my experience, I would not recommend management course, its overrated and lecturers didn't help! but I do recommend Business Systems course, lecturers were more friendly and helpful then management course, some of my management classmates withdrew and then transferred to other university's MBA course, I withdrew and then reapplied MBS, that was a right choice! therefore, i give four stars because management course let me deduce one!
