We have recently returned from the Unconventional Conventions Mongolia and Silk Road tour. What a wonderful experience. Destinations that would not normally have be on our travel itinerary. This excellently organised trip included fantastic guides and gave us the opportunity to meet the local people, witness their culture and be stunned by the natural beauty of the area. The accommodation and events were amazing. Being in Ulaanbaatar for the Naadam Festival was a particular highlight. Sharing the experience with like minded colleagues was particularly special to us. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the the trip and are looking forward to our next adventure with Unconventional Conventions.

We've done five Unconventional Conventions now over the past 8 years. Every trip has been an outstanding experience combining the benefits of continued professional education with exotic travel experiences. Most of the regions have been bucket list destinations and the expert organisational skills of the team has made them all possible with a minimum of fuss. Its a fantastic organisation and you will not be disappointed to give Unconventional Conventions a go.

I have enjoyed each of the adventures that Unconventional Conventions have offered, the staff and fellow travellers have been great. The lectures are of high quality and up to date. Those extra-curricular activities are awesome, though nature will sometimes have its way.

Having travelled with Unconventional Conventions 6 times in the last 13 years I have never been disappointed. All their trips are high quality with a tempting mix of adventure and luxury. Our last trip with them was to the Galapagos and Amazon and was the best yet. After almost 100 trips they have worked out what people want and so I can only highly recommend them and will travel with them again when I get the chance.

We have taken 3 great trips with Unconventional Conventions- all to those "Bucket List" sort of unique locations-East Africa, Antarctica and to see the Northern Lights. Each trip was well organised, had friendly staff, excellent broad CPD where we always learnt something new. We were accompanied by interesting fellow travellers and there was an opportunity to "give back" on the African conference which was a highlight of the trip. We look forward to travelling with the UC team again.

We have been to Antarctica, Buenos Aires, Mongolia and China with this company. My wife and I are both GPs' and thoroughly enjoy the travel and the educational value that we have experienced. The best part is that we can travel with like minded people, and visit places that we would be reluctant to do on your own. The organization and attention to detail is exceptional, and there is always somebody on site to help with last minute changes or unexpected events. We have decided to do at least one annual trip with Unconventional Conventions. We trust them to safely show us the world and provide quality CPD as well .

We have had several trips with Unconventional Conventions and always have had a great time.
The talks have been very interesting as, for those of us retired, we are able to keep up to date with the latest knowledge.
The actual tours have always been well researched which save us doing the leg work and usually involve places we would find difficult to access.
We have one booked for later this year and one for next year and have encouraged several friends to join us. No-one has ever been disappointed.

Trip to Africa was amazing- the perfect blend of quality education and safari exploration. The Shongololo train was our travelling haven - great food, service and not 1, but 2 bar cars! The safari trips were well balanced with other sightseeing. The company was great and our fearless leaders were there to help if needed - even navigating us through Zimbabwe border crossings!
Go- you will have a great time!
