What a beautiful tree!
The information plaque can easily be missed on the main road footpath, I think it would be better placed on the other side of the tree where there are benches & a footpath to the harbour. Very interesting to read the history about it, & nice to see it's being preserved.
A very nice spot to sit & admire.

the name does not lie, i learnt so many things here, like how apparently cutting down trees that "arent my property" is "very illegal" so now APPARENTLY im "going to jail" because i "committed a crime" um? last i checked people didnt own trees, but i guess you learn something new every day
