Tom is wonderful teacher. I have a severe neurological condition and Tom is very patient with my quirkiness. But in saying this he also gives me the incentive and knowledge to improve my playing to a much higher level. He explains and demonstrates things clearly.,and his lessons always leave me with a big smile on my face and playing my Ukulele better.

Tom the Pom has visited our preschool class many times as he is so well received by the children and educators. Tom includes old favourites as well as his own music during his visit. Tom uses instruments and sign language ensuring every child feels involved. He is certainly a hit with every group and is talked about for a long time after his visits.

Tom has a friendly lighthearted approach which really makes the frustration of learning and making mistakes so much easier to overcome. He really knows his stuff and if you’re interested can explain the more technical detail and reasoning behind things, even fleshing things out with contextual anecdotes, but otherwise keeps things simple and practical. I learned a lot within our sessions but he also shared resources and exercises for me to practise between sessions, which helped me get a lot more bang for my buck and progress at my own pace.
