This is an excellent gym shame about some of the gronks who go here. Either you are uneducated and can’t read the multiple signs about putting your weights away or you’re too weak to lift them in the first place. Plates left everywhere on multiple machines you spend half your time cleaning up after everyone. It’s not the staffs job to pick up after the babies who go here.

One of the few places in town open early for breakfast and coffee. A cafe as part of a gym. Super friendly staff. Great banana bread toasted with butter ($5.50) and excellent hot chocolate and barista coffee ($4.50ea). Table service and relaxed eating environment. Well worth the visit.

Amazing way to better yourself and an amazing basketball arena, but could definitely replace some of the cardio machines at the front with some new muscle building machines. Great little coffee place to have a yarn by the way ?

The staff are very friendly and so helpful when I was there. The gym doesn’t have that many equipments unfortunately, but it’s clean and spacious. Robust fitness classes to choose from too. Recommended

I'm not impressed. I kept getting an email request to do a feedback survey for this outfit.
Completed the survey and gave a feedback on reducing membership fees for those of us who work a roster and have days off in Adelaide, therefore, not in Broken Hill for half the month unable to use the Y.
No email feedback was given, and my request was ignored.

Monday Nov.2 2020. Visiting Broken Hill after some time and called into Wellness Cafe to purchase food and a drink for lunch.
I was the only customer and was observed by person behind counter. She promptly turned her back and commenced preparing food. No acknowledgement was made of me. I waited a good two minutes, still ignored. I left. Most unpleasant experience. So rude.

Really nice coffee here, possibly the best since I left Melb 2 weeks ago. I topped up my coffee for the day with an additional one to accompany me for the first 15km of my drive to Mildura from Broken Hill.

Staff are down to earth, very pleasant, intelligent and young. Most cafes in this trip outside of Victoria/Melbourne don't know about 'Magic'. Nonetheless, the lovely barista here was happy to make my own specific coffee mix, being a Long Mac taking up a third of the cup, topped with an equal volume of thick smooth real milk foam. Delicious. Try it.
It's called a 'KD', and better than a Magic.

The Wellness Cafe is the most relaxed and well situated of all cafes in Broken Hill. Good quality food, no cooked breakfast.
The Sturt Park is opposite and adds to the tranquil feel.
The Cafe is connected with the adjoining Fitness Centre on a walk thru basis, and thus has a steady flow of fit like minded people.

Very rude staff, particularly Amanda (manager).
I was told that my cancellation date was automatically put in to the system when I signed up. Instead, it was not and I was charged an additional $28 after I had left Broken Hill. I was then accused of lying, and the staff refused to refund me because "our staff would never say that".
Possibly the most absurdly rude staff I have come across.
