In Early 1865 the Christmas Mission became the Salvation Army, the Civil war in the USA is coming to a close, Lewis Carroll publishes ‘Alice In Wonderland’ and the Wesleyan Chapel opens in Bulli. Now the Northern Illawarra Uniting Church it still houses lead light windows from the World War I era. It also hosts the quilt and flower show. It’s a quiet, calm meditative church redolent with it’s community and our history.
