We attended the meal last Friday for the performance of popper as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. This was our first time attending this venue. The location is excellent. There is car parking opposite the Calvary Hospital which was only five dollars if you enter after 5 pm. It was a short walk from the car park Down to the mill. Approximately 150 m. On arrival there was some umbrellas and seats outside if people wanted to sit down there is a ramp leading to the entrance of the venue and a small couch opposite the bar area/reception. To the side was an art gallery With pictures on display at the far end of this was a door that went out to where the disability toilets are. The space was not crowded and very accessible and easy to manoeuvre around. The performance we saw was incredibly inclusive. We arrived at 5:30 pm for a tactile tour that was on offer prior to the performance. Were able to go up and meet the performance and fill all the props and get a description of what would be on the screen as the performance was occurring. This is the first time I’ve had this opportunity to do this prior to performance. During the performance were provided with audio description which a staff member helped me set up and the mail loaned me a pair of headphones as I did not have mine with me. The lighting in the space was good. The staff were friendly and it was easy to move around. I would recommend attending a performance at the mill.💕

I’m currently a tenant at the Mill and the studio spaces are wonderful. Being part of a thriving community of local artists is such a valuable experience, and it’s so vital to have spaces like this in our city.

Ground floor gallery is a must visit for general public! The photography studio (for hire) is also terrific, I’ve used it before and it had excellent natural light and plenty of tools on hand - eg back drops, and a changing room for models.

an absolutely amazing CREATIVE HUB! I’d highly recommend the mill if you’re looking for a studio space with great facilities and supportive staff and artists. I’ve also seen a few theatre performances in the space that have been really engaging. I’m really into it. Heaps into it.

I went in to get some flour ground as per the name of the place, and despite being leaving with a full sack of un-milled wheat and barley, got to see some pretty amazing artist spaces and art.

Jokes aside its an excellent artist space of the kind that you don't see much anymore the hat man is especially excellent 10/10.

We mainly utilised the performing area, which was nice an intimate. Good for small shows with a powerful message. The people who work there were very kind and very helpful. Other people who use the Mill's workshop areas were kind and usually kept to themselves (as did we).
