Our wedding at The Barn On The Ridge was an absolute dream. From the first photos we saw we thought the venue looked stunning and it is even more breath taking in person. We loved that there were so many different options you could choose to have your ceremony, including wet weather options. But also in general it provides so much variety in your wedding photos. We love having photos with Pigeon House in the background, the dock and dam, a flower garden and then the rustic look of inside the barn. Not only is the location amazing but the owners are too. Brad and Mindy were so kind and friendly. Throughout the whole planning and actual wedding we felt very well looked after and you can tell the whole team is passionate about what they do. Mindy happily answered any questions we had and was a wealth of knowledge in regards to vendors we could use. We also felt she went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we wanted, was a lot of fun to have around helping on the day and was a really nice calming influence when we were nervous before the ceremony! It created way less stress on the day knowing Mindy was waiting to greet all our vendors when they arrived and help get them organised and set up. Overall we found The Barn On The Ridge was great value for money. It is similar in pricing to other DIY venues we looked at but unlike them The Barn On The Ridge includes the borrow barn that has all the benches, tables, chairs, cuttlery, glassware etc you would need. But also fun things like lawn games and sooo many different decorative items. We had over 100 guests and the borrow barn covered everything. We were so happy with the set up we were able to do inside the barn, on the lawn outside the barn and down in the back paddock for our ceremony. Our guests all commented on how great the venue and setup was. We can't recommend The Barn On The Ridge enough and you would definitely be making a good choice locking them in to host your event. We also would highly recommend Velvet Wattle photography and videography, we loved how well they captured the beauty and variety of The Barn On The Ridge for our wedding.

The Barn on the Ridge is an absolutely amazing venue to work at as a wedding photographer. The venue owners are just such and dream and have made the venue something special for every couple on their big day.

There are so many gorgeous photo opportunities including the gorgeous sunset with Pigeon House Mountain in the background. I have posted some photos of a previous wedding I have photographed there to show you that it's the best decision you'll make to get married at the Barn on the Ridge.

We cannot overstate how much we loved having our wedding at The Barn. It was the first and only venue we looked at, and we knew it was the right fit from the moment we stepped onto the property. The whole team were an absolute dream to work with - super responsive, friendly and relaxed. In the days leading up to our wedding, Mindy went above and beyond to make sure that everything was stress-free and was also a wealth of knowledge when it came to answering any of our questions. Could not be happier that we chose to have our wedding at The Barn. The venue is absolutely stunning, with multiple ceremony locations, a gorgeous barn to have the reception in and lots of different spots to take photos. The venue owners are SO helpful and really made the whole process so much easier. They were also there on the day making sure everything went smoothly and was exactly how we wanted it which was so good because we didn't have to worry about a thing! Would definitely recommend!

If you want a wedding venue that feels like taking a breath of fresh air or that moment where you reach the top of a hike and see the view, look no further than The Barn on The Ridge. As soon as we stepped onto the property and were greeted by the ever calm and lovely Mindy, we knew the Barn was the venue for us. As you drive up their driveway the view of Pigeon House and the mountains takes your breath away. There are no hidden costs, and in fact with The Borrow Barn and the complete generosity of the owners with recommendations, advice, time to talk about planning, and being there on the day, you well and truly get your moneys worth and more. The venue lends itself to any type of wedding or weather and whatever vision you have for your day we opted for an informal, warm, canapé style that flowed from inside to outside and our guests raved about it. Mindy, Mack and Laura are the most beautiful souls and made the whole process so fun and easy. We can’t put into words how lucky we feel to have found this venue and to have made such incredible memories with our nearest and dearest in such a beautiful place. We had such a fun time not just on the day but in the planning and even setting up the day before. Our wedding felt like a magical, warm, whimsical adventure in the best way and that’s all thanks to the team at the Barn. ❤️

We could not recommend The Barn on The Ridge more highly! We had the most amazing day which was made even better by the spectacular setting. There are so many options for the ceremony location to choose from and the borrow barn is full of everything you need to style your wedding.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and Laura and Mack were so amazing at managing the venue. They were so helpful in answering all of our questions and even ones we didn’t know we needed to ask and went above and beyond in helping us make our day run smoothly and we can’t thank them enough.

I honestly can’t rate this venue highly enough. All of our guests were amazed and we had so many saying that it was the best atmosphere at a wedding that they had experienced!

We had the best day celebrating my daughter’s wedding at this incredible venue. The hosts were amazing - there to help every step of the way with our myriad of questions ! Their communication is excellent and they really bent over backwards to help us - their flexibility was so appreciated - making it all so easy . On the wedding day they were discreet enough that we didn’t even know they were quietly working behind the scenes ! When we arrived for the recovery breakfast, the barn had already been tidied up and so we had another wonderful celebration with the same magnificent views , but in different light . We were therefore able to enjoy all that the Barn on the Ridge had to offer. The photographer took full advantage of the different vistas . Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us and for making Jenny and Vinny’s wedding day so special and very memorable .

The Barn on the Ridge is the most magical wedding venue.

Quiet. Still. Absolutely gorgeous and ready to open its arms and give you the most incredible day of your life (which it did for us).

There are so many ways you can make this venue your own. It provides the most exquisite back drop for a perfect day.

Mindy is kind and generous with her time and Brad is there making sure the Barn and all its surrounds are looking perfect and operating as they should be. Nothing is too much of an ask.

The Barn will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and we are looking forward to visiting again.

Having our wedding here was the best decision we made.
