we sent our son to APAC to focus on acting and singing skills. I found the centre very much focused on performance art and not really proper acting skills. Also, the activities are very much tailored to females and as much as they say we have boys students, majority of attendants are girls and they seem to fail attract boys students. My main issue with APAC was the culture that promotes attendance/enrolment as opposed to skills and talent of students, the award show at the end of the year and what they call "COMPANY" is all about promoting parents and kids who have big number of enrolment in classes and more profitable. We were also disappointed with the roles and the parts that was given to our son which seemed very much stereo typed based on the background. I tried couple of time to talk to teachers and get some meaningful feedbacks but other than some generic comments there was no plan and we ended up pulling out after a year in here. Couple of other boys also did the same and moved to other places which are better suited for boys and a lot more technical in acting.

My daughter joined APAC 10 years ago at just 4 years of age. I was a reluctant swimming and rugby loving mum, very unsure about the world of dance. Little did I know then what an important role it would play in her life. To say my daughter loves APAC is an understatement. She is fortunate to be able to participate in ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, singing, acting, hip hop, acro, lyrical as well as many performance opportunities. The standard of the teaching and choreography is outstanding, the production quality is world class. One of the highlights is the opportunity to work on location with professional film crews and direction to produce quality screen acting in the September School Holiday. This experience is invaluable.

My grandchildren have attended APAC for many years now and I firmly believe it has made mature, skilled individuals out of them. I feel relaxed about them attending such a caring, school of the arts, knowing they will be encouraged to take up many opportunities. It is a highlight to see them perform too, as the standard of their presentations is outstanding.
I would thoroughly recommend APAC to a family that wanted to foster their children in essential life skills, like relating well and respectfully to each other and to the adults who are teaching them.

I have 3 daughters who attend weekly classes at APAC and am always in awe of the level of preparation and planning that goes into every session, performance and especially concerts! It is highly professional. Miss. Kath has managed to take her years of experience, genuine passion of performing arts, knowledge and pass that onto her team of staff who are just as incredible...and as a result, the standards are outstanding. The students learn great dance technique and skills such as resilience, discipline, how to deal with success as well as disappointment all the while making lasting friendships and having so much fun.

As a former ballerina and mum of a 3 year old girl who loves to dance all dance genres, we have been extremely lucky to have found APAC. APAC offers dance lessons to children from an early age and combine passion, fun and excellence every step of the way. Children are taught technique by extremely talented and professional teachers in an environment that is very welcoming and fun. Our daughter participated in the end of year production last year which was a magnificient production with dancing and singing numbers we re-watch whenever we get the chance. APAC is like one big family always pushing for the success of its students which in, my opinion, is guaranteed.

What can I say about APAC...? The staff, the teachers, the volunteers, the helpers all feels like a big family. My 6 year old daughter has joined APAC last year as a first timer and it took her only 2 weeks to settle in and make new friends. She is learning about techniques, team work, performances and of course back stage costume experiences. APAC is not just your regular dance class but it's a commitment towards performing arts. Super happy to be part of this family...!

From the moment we stepped into the Australian Performing Arts College (APAC), we felt the warmth and supportive atmosphere that radiates throughout their space. It's clear from the get-go that this is a place where teachers aren't just instructors; they're mentors who genuinely care for each student's growth and well-being.

What truly stands out about APAC is their commitment to nurturing talent at all levels. They hold a high standard of excellence, which is impressive, but it's their approach to getting students there that's exceptional. They encourage, support, and guide their students every step of the way, ensuring each one has the tools and confidence to reach their potential.

For families with boys interested in the performing arts, APAC offers a welcoming and inclusive environment. My boys have thrived here, particularly in singing and acting, where they've been encouraged to explore their passions and refine their talents. They provide an array of opportunities, from performances to workshops, allowing students to gain invaluable experience and exposure. Our daughter has also excelled.

In essence, APAC isn't just a performing arts school; it's a family where young performers can grow, challenge themselves, and excel across dance, singing, and acting. For any parent considering a place where their child can pursue the performing arts, I can't recommend APAC highly enough. Their dedication to fostering talent and providing amazing opportunities for their students is truly commendable.

Not only are the admin and staff kind, encouraging and talented, but the quality of dancing singing and acting provided at this dance school are that of no other. They offer dance performance opportunities such as the end of year show and the mid year company performance which was something I was proud to be a part of. It has a great positive atmosphere and overall good feeling about the place. It definitely deserves an 11/10 rating and 100% advise choosing apac as your dance school of choice.
