I have stayed at this hotel a few times, it is central, transport is close by and the service is wonderful. Matt the manager is friendly and provides exceptional service. The rooms are clean and all we needed for our stays. The restaurant provides a great feed, big size meals, affordable and tasty.

My experience was excellent, the new Manager Matthew is both efficient and incredibly friendly. The restaurant and staff are first class. After a long drive there is nothing better than a nice room ( he is still updating ) and a great meal.. excellent location close to freeway

This has only recently been taken over by the current owner, and he's working on the accommodation. There is absolutely no problem with the room I stayed in. Maybe a little dated, but as it's only a place to sleep, it's all great. I'll stay here again.

Under personal circumstances, I am extremely grateful to the staff here. The room was clean and exactly what I needed. The food from the restaurant was amazing aswell.

Large serving of chicken snitzel on a bed of chips and salad
Beers are $8 !!!

I had to be in Sydney. It has been a long time since we all have been able to get away together. I had to be in the city early hours and was over the moon when I could go, yet know my family were safe and able to rest after a long day on the road the day before.
As there wasn't enough beds for us all it was reassuring to be able to have 2 adjoining rooms still at a reasonable price.
We had my ladies family come over the first night, the restaurant were more than happy to accommodate that we weren't sure what time we would be able to sit down and eat but they had it all set for when we were ready. I hate wasting good tucker but there was no way I was able to finish my dinner.
If you would like somewhere relaxing yet but close to everything I would recommend on giving the Ascot a thought.

We were wonderfully greeted by our jovial host. Would recommend for the purpose of good conversation alone. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely authentic 60s atmosphere and quiet. The restaurant was excellent, very warm, and welcoming. My beloved family and I each had a magnificent steak, cooked to perfection. Would recommend from our numbered scenic experiences in Wahroonga.
