I attended principal certification courses at the Glasscock School of Education at Rice University. My professors were all practitioners who had their own experiences in education and carried a wealth of knowledge and practical advice based on their experiences. They were well-versed in current research and best practices in the field. I also truly appreciated that the coursework included great practices for adult learning.... no traditional "sit and get" here!! We were encouraged to plan, practice, and give feedback to one another throughout the coursework. I also felt well prepared to take the principal certification exam and the PASL. I enjoyed the experience and the professors here!
