I would like to give this 100/10. What an incredible place. Unfortunately it was a miserable rainy day which prevented looking through telescopes but Chris (my own personal tour guide!😁), made up for it. I think he spent an hour and a half showing me everything, sharing his vast knowledge, his passion for astronomy and all the facts and figures he had stored in his head. I came away with so much more information than I could have read in a book! I wish I lived in Tamworth so I could join the club and have fun every week, gazing into the universe. Thank you to the centre for sharing this with me and to Chris for the time he spent with me. I wish your club all the best with any grants you apply for, to help educate young and old alike into the future.

Excellent centre - great and varied collection of objects from astronomy and other branches of science, planetarium, big telescope in the dome out front, as well as other displays. Guides are very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Definitely worth a visit for all ages and backgrounds.

A must do when in Tamworth. Visited during the day, but will definitely be back for a night viewing. Garry, our personal guide was a legend. I think he spent 1 1/2 to 2 hours with us and we enjoyed every minute of it. Extremely knowledgeable. If We lived here we would definitely become members so we could learn all that amazing stuff and become star gazers. Thanks so much Garry and well done to the centre for such a great display

I visited the Tamworth Observatory on the first Saturday of August. I didn't know they have a night for club members to interact every first week of Month. For us, newcomers to the Tamworth astronomy& science center, we were given a very friendly guide and the opportunity to observe stars. I believe it's the best outing place that can instill pure scientific curiosity and interest in young kids. If I were to live in NSW, I would consider living in Tamworth because of this place. I think it's a place that should be cherished and preserved.
