I did my certificate III and diploma in childcare in this college. Had good experience with teachers. Very supportive and encouraging. The only thing is Administration sectors is kinda rude. Recommend if you wanna studying in supporting environment but be cautious when you are trying to involve in conversation with admins.

If you’re planning to study full time Certificate IV in building and construction at this campus. Please reconsider. 1 star goes to the first semester teachers who did a great job and 0 star goes to the rest. The teachers at second semester were very rude and abysmal. They do not care about students and were only interested in getting paid to do absolutely nothing. They always came late. It is absolutely disgusting when asking for help and you get told to “figure it out yourself”, waste of taxpayer money to be thrown in the garbage. I’ve learnt far more in kindergarten than I have learned from there.

The funny thing is that they encouraged students to make a complaint because they knew they can get away with it. But when I did make a complaint to the head teacher, he tried to blame me for their behaviour and continued to deflect rather than actually doing his job.
I’ve paid literally half my life savings which took me years to save to study at this campus TAFE and for it to all go to waste. Don’t do it there. I wouldn’t be surprised the reason they put the best teachers first semester and the worst teachers for second semester so that you don’t get your money back. You’re better off doing it at Granville or Ultimo. It’ll be all worth it at the end and learn a lot since we’re in the middle of a builder shortage. What’s ironic about one of the teachers I had is that he is a “professor” at UTS, UWS, I have no clue at all but he is a “professor” somehow. Him and his colleague did not once ever teach us at all. When I did ask him a question about one of the questions in the assignment, he couldn’t even tell me what the formula is to calculate the amount of concrete needed for a beam and it was a Certificate IV course and he was a “professor”. What a joke. If you think I’m talking nonsense, apply and see it for yourself. What you’ll learn here will be nowhere near what you have learnt in kindergarten.

I studied Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at this TAFE. The teachers at this TAFE are pretty good, they are professional and lenient to their students which means that they are far from being strict as they believe that every student learns differently. They give you lots of chances and opportunities and to always make sure that their students are receiving the support that they need. I had a great time at this TAFE, they have a good environment and atmosphere, I really like their student lounge and they keep the TAFE pretty clean. Parking is only $5 for 1 year, so that was all I paid for the whole duration of my studies which was 6 months full-time. I highly recommend studying at this TAFE.

The College is quite huge, so finding a classroom in your first day of class is some kind of a puzzle. But most of the educators in this TAFE are quite impeccable. They care about their students understanding the subjects. They won't move to the next unit or topic until all students completely understand it. Unlike studying in some private colleges... I have proven this. The educators in TAFE teaches you the highest level of standard that the employers are looking for in new employees. Lots of help/support on offer if needed.

I’m currently doing the pre apprenticeship for plumbing at this tafe. I have an amazing teacher name Peter Bowler. He has many many years of experience in plumbing and has taught me a lot. He is very switched on and genuinely cares for all his students. Good sense of humour. Great teacher. Goes above and beyond with helping all his students needs. He wants to see everyone succeed. Very great man indeed. Thank you Nirimba Tafe and especially Peter Bowler for his time and effort. 👍

The worst Tafe ever! The teachers were not helpful at all, same as the office staff. When you call them to communicate, they would say call you back soon and never happened untill they think it's time to charge you. They would charge you wrong amount, which are more than correct one. And they would ask you to make prompt payment. Even when we are going through the pandemic difficulties, losing our jobs, they said it's not their business. No apology for wrong amount, but payment must be made immediately.

I studied building design there one year, and I cancelled it after one year. I paid all amount and no one accepts to refund that amount or part of that to me. No one was there to help. It was supposed to be a normal class but it was self study one😔😔😔
