I was bullied by a teacher named Philip Dowling and neglected by the head teacher Ashraf Salem.

I have a disability and studied IT here. Whilst the educational support teachers are kind, not are the IT teachers above. Philip Dowling seemed to take pleasure in passively mentioning a former student, me, who had disability and had been openly mocking my every move and word, even exaggerating my actions. I initially tried to ignore it when it happened once, but it has occurred more than five times, and it's really getting on my nerves. He even makes fun of every request for assistance. This behavior is highly unprofessional and immature. It's as if he lacks a filter.

What's even more traumatising is that I reported this to the head teacher, and to my dismay, the head teacher sided with my IT teacher. The head teacher said, "Sometimes teachers make mistakes here and there," and then went on to explain that asking for extensions is no longer permitted, with reasonable adjustments allowed for a maximum of one day. I reminded him that this bullying and mockery has occurred more than five times. He assured me that he takes bullying very seriously and will address the issue with my teacher. However, his actions didn't align with his words. He continued to support his colleague, lectured me when I hadn't asked for it, and changed the topic randomly, forcing me to question how it related to the extension issue. I came to the head teacher to be listened to about an issue with being bullied, not to be lectured.

Feeling frustrated with this, I escalated the matter to the administration because I believe there's a deep-rooted issue within the IT department. I spoke with the administration, and they communicated with the head teacher. Surprisingly, the head teacher took a complete U-turn, claiming he didn't realise it was bullying and that he would have handled it differently if he had known. I couldn't help but chuckle at his sudden change of stance.

Now that the administration is involved, the responsible teacher has, hopefully, stopped these actions. However, the atmosphere still feels very uncomfortable. Even though measures have been in place, it is hard to continue studying in an environment where you have been bullied. I'm simply appalled that a TAFE teacher would behave this way.

Absolutely Atrocious experience. This is the worst campus in the history of humankind. Teachers look completely clueless and mean, made decisions with no logical explanation and reasoning behind them whatsoever e.g., staying online for classes without a single common sense behind it, assessments are completely ridiculous as they have no structure behind them and they sound like they don't care about a student well being. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS CAMPUS EVER AGAIN BECAUSE IT'S THAT APPALLING. I'd rather have Covid-19 than come to this cancerous campus as they give me every single disease in the world. The point is it's terrible and I would never return. DON'T EVER GO HERE and make sure you are 100km radius away from this campus

Great learning environment. The teachers genuinely care about the success of students.

The tafe canteen was overpriced and the food was very very salty.

There is a great Thai restaurant on the other side of Meadowbank railway station where you can buy a nice meal for $10 with your classmates.

There is also this student Cafe near the train station with affordable vegimite toast and all the good stuff.

I am going to give a review about a nice teacher of hair dressing course in Meadwbank TAFE in Sydney. She is Carol Audisho the best teacher and knowledgeable i met. I am not the student of that course but customer for many times. I saw how caring teacher she is by respecting students and clients. she does care for students as well as for clients too by making everybody cofetable and relax with a nice smailing face. Carol Audisho is an asset for Meadwbank TAFE
