I recently completed my Cert III in Barbering at Liverpool TAFE, and the experience was fantastic. The course covered everything you’d expect, including paperwork, practical skills, and theoretical concepts. While some of the content was straightforward, other parts were a bit more challenging, but thanks to my teacher, Emma Calleja, I was able to navigate everything with ease. Emma was absolutely amazing – she was supportive, patient, and really knew how to break down difficult concepts to make them easy to understand. Her teaching style was engaging, and she managed to make the entire learning process enjoyable with her humor and positive attitude. She guided me through every step, making the course not only efficient and effective but also fun. I felt fully prepared by the time I finished, and I highly recommend Liverpool TAFE and Emma for anyone interested in pursuing barbering.

I was just browsing the TAFE Liverpool website to explore other courses that might interest me. A review just caught my eye, prompting me to share my own exp. I completely agree with the feedback about Arifur Khadem – he's truly outstanding in his teaching style and techniques. His approach is unique and diligent, as he can easily transform some boring topics into engaging ones by sharing abundant personal and professional exp and examples. Moreover, he seems to be a genuinely good individual. I was his student last year and successfully completed the course.

Currently, I'm on the lookout for another free course, although they seem a bit challenging to find at the moment. One area that could use improvement, however, is the TAFE phone service, which often keeps you on hold for extended periods.

Arif Khadem is a great teacher who is very nice and understanding. He doesn’t rush anything and is more than happy to repeat anything that I didn’t understand or needed more support/guidance with which I really appreciate. He truely wants his students to learn and grow.He is always here to support you through any learning obstacle and is extremely patient! Which is really helpful for students like me that learn at a slower pace. Much respect to this teacher he has helped me through this course tremendously. Thank you Arif.

I was doing a Technology, cert IV for last semester 2023, very dissatisfied with the teacher, Todd Tree and head teacher Catarina, I attended classes and my attendance was good I put in the best effort I could, however failed Me due to stupid reasons and wasted six months of my life, and I’m not able to go into higher education due to this. Head teacher, couldn’t care less if you pass or not absolutely not supportive and seems to be always on the teacher side and doesn’t want to listen to students. I’m not the 1st to complain about this and won’t be the last.

Having just completed my certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping I just wanted to thank my teacher Mona for going above and beyond with her students especially during the clunkiness of the course changing half way through. There was no question too silly or trouble too big and she always went the extra mile to make sure we were supported in our studies.

If you are looking at studying nail technology at Liverpool, YOU are in good hands. Manal, the enhancement teacher, is absolutely amazing!!!
She is nothing short of wonderful! She is professional, very well presented and extremely organised.
The passion she has for teaching and nails shines through. She is very well at presenting the material and so supportive through out the entire course. Her positive personality and hard work is noticeable. My nail’s skills have improved dramatically within a few months despite doing 2 days a week and that is all thanks to Manal.
I honestly can not fault her!!!!!
