Cosmetically, it could certainly do with some updating. The facilities are fine though on the inside, although computers could do with more regular dusting.

I personally think that coffee is overpriced here, but the food is good & reasonably priced. The coffee service can be very slow, due to trainees serving.

The library shuts at 1pm on Fridays, which is a day I found that I needed to use it after class, but couldn't due to this.

Lockers are hard to get unless you get in first at the beginning of term, & you need to bring your own padlock.

The library is really well stocked, & the staff are always very helpful.

All the teachers I have had have been great, all passionate, friendly & helpful.

Smokers could do with a shaded seating area outside, & unfortunately, most don't do the right thing by disposing of their butts, leaving an unpleasant trail for everyone else, & degrading the campus.

Please read this message if you have any interest to study as a cookery student at this campus

Time table is unreliable. There was class asking me to attend however it's not on my transcript. I will never know this if I double check the timetable with head teacher. However, head teacher also unsure and not confidence about the timetable he responding on.

Resources that TAFE provide is very hard to use
TAFE provide a online software called Modle. The knowledge and information that Modle presenting are extremely limited. For answering a question it Always take 10 minutes even more.
Not efficient. Zero convenience.

Enroll System is unsatisfied and broken here. I used to enroll a course and paid successfully, but the system shows nothing when I arrived.

If you failed any unit following (pastry/poultry/soup tock and sauce/seafood)
You must to redo every things at the unit that you failed. One unit have Practical and Knowlege Assessment. I only failed the Knowledge assessment but TAFE asking me to do both. They gave a reason: policy Said so. It means whatever you finished on Failed unit are nothing

First semester is 6 month. If you failed any unit after July, you are unable to study anything else within 6 month.

I have been studying in this campus for 1.5 years as a cert 4 international student. I enjoyed that different chefs Impart knowledge with fantastic diversity and creativity. Happy to see TAFE staff are always make me fell wellcome. Clean and tidy equipment.

Café open to public 12:00pm to 1:30pm with inexpensive and quality meals. You can also buy takeaway so you can do the trick of buying both lunch and dinner - nice hot chips and gravy.

The cafeteria now refuses to accept cash for a $7 meal. They'll take credit or debit cards, only. However, what they've done is illegal. Cash is the main way of paying for anything. Cards are a secondary way. Putting $7 on a credit card is ridiculous.

This is the commercial kitchen training centre for Newcastle and also has two restaurants and a cafe. Easy to reach by public transport and has a parking area.
