Great place for younger kids. Not too large that they get tired walking around but enough variety of animals to see. There's a playground halfway through to take a break and a splash park at the end to cool down. Definitely the best I've been to when it comes to feeding kangaroos. Plenty of them roaming around and not just sleepy. Must visit if you're in the area or driving through, we stayed for about 4 hours.

My husband and I had an amazing experience during our visit! We purchased a koala encounter and had the incredible opportunity to pet both an adult koala and a baby. We also got to touch and feed kangaroos, which was absolutely unforgettable. If I had the chance, I would definitely upgrade to the full encounter package. Knowing that all the ticket money go toward animal research makes it even more worthwhile—I’m so happy we could contribute to such a great cause. I 100% recommend visiting!

Great day out for the family, all animals were awake and being very active. Love that you can feed the kangaroos and I’ve never seen koalas run so fast to get some gum leaves. The playground, picnic areas and water play areas were busy but still enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves.

Absolutely lovely experience here at Symbio wildlife park. The animal feeding zones - where you can feed Kangaroos, wallabies, Emus and farm animals was so cool. The other exhibits are also awesome, only thing they don’t have here is the happy Quokka. Importantly, they take excellent care of their animals here and the staff are very friendly and all of them look happy to be looking after the animals.

Certainly worth the drive out from Sydney - do visit if you ever get the chance!

Would like to add that even as university students, we all had fun. We really enjoyed our time here, so it’s not only for the kids, but I highly recommend this park for adult animal lovers as well.

Update: visited a petting zoo in Taiwan and I will say that the difference between Symbio wildlife park and that was quite significant. Symbio treats their animals so much better, and the experience was really unique with the kangaroos. My word still remains unchanged - it is an excellent place to visit.

This is an amazing place for the kids and parents. Much better than the Zoo in Blacktown. Kids can run around and feed the animals and it's super parent friendly. At the end of the day the kids can cool down in the splash park. I will be here again and recommend everyone to come here.

I'm not sure if they have Halal options in the canteen but I'd they do the this is the perfect spot

This is the best experience we had during our trip in Australia.
Check the koala encounter!
Many animals run free. For example kangaroos and you can feed them. The park is super well maintained. Please, respect the animals and the guards. This place is really good.

We had such a great New Years Day at Symbio! I haven't been since I was in primary school and was blown away with how beautiful the property is! So clean and well maintained, not to mention seating everywhere. Compared to Shoalhaven Zoo, we were so impressed with each enclosure and how well the layout works. It didn't even feel overly hot even on 30deg day, of course the splash pad also helps when having a break for lunch. We expected to stay a couple of hours but realised we enjoyed 5 hours there.
