Our daughter attended the TAFE Children's Centre for about 18 months and we absolutely loved it. We are moving interstate and leaving behind this daycare is one of the hardest things about the process. The centre has a huge outdoor play area. All educators are passionate and caring, many of them have been there for a long time which shows that staff are happy with the setting and team environment. Every week the kids get to enjoy different activities, and parents are kept up to date and often invited to participate in events such as Harmony Day, Book Week etc. I always had 100% trust that my daughter is safe and well looked after. The educators are extremely attentive to the moods of the kids, changing behaviours and developmental needs.

I also think it's a huge advantage that the TAFE facility for Early Childhood Education is right next door - the centre is on top of the latest best practices (the whole staff attends an annual conference) and they can tap into new talent and even the education facilities when needed. Bigger kids also get to go on excursions to the TAFE library (also next door), which is super cute.

If you're looking for quality care in the area, this is the place (give them a call as info gets lost on the TAFE website. The centre IS taking applications from the public so it's not just for TAFE staff and students).

Such an amazing place! We have searched a number of childcare centres, by far this is definitely the best daycare center in this area. All the educators are so passionate, patient, professional and responsive ! My kid loves the place and we have been going to the daycare center for nearly 2 years. The outdoor play area is very big and I can see all the kids in there enjoy doing different activities. All educators we met have passion of what they do. Highly recommended!!!

I love everything about this centre. The staff are so nurturing and passionate. They’re so friendly to the kids and provide wonderful learning experiences. My boys absolutely loved coming here. The outdoor area Is fantastic and the activities they provide are always targeted to the kids interests. Lots of hands on learning which is great. I can’t recommend this place high enough.

I've had 3 children at many different daycares and this by far outweighs the rest. Such a large outdoor area, the kids do gardening, look after rabbits, water play, sand pit. They spend alot of time outdoors unlike some centres. The manager and staff love the children like their own. They do science experiments, craft and the school readiness program is fantastic. My daughter is sadly leaving to start school and has mastered cutting with scissors, counting, writing her name. Highly recommend for your little one! Thank you Katie and all the lovely educators !

My son has been going to this daycare for over a year now and he has a wonderful time there. He has made lots of friends and the educators (I call them teachers) have lots of resources and a very friendly to us and my son.

The outdoor area is huge, and the indoors is very open too, lots of space to move around in.

My daughter attended this centre for a few months, the centre is old inside and small but has a huge outdoor area. The staff were all lovely, very multi cultural. I did however find the communication from the director very poor with covid updates etc and never replied to emails, constantly had to chase things up. I ended up moving my daughter to another centre after 2 months.

We were attending the centre for a couple of months, after some time of adjustment my kid started to enjoy the centre and friendly educators. There is a huge green play outdoor area, and we had access to an app where they uploaded lots of pics so we knew how our kid was doing. Then we had to leave the centre as management is not easy to deal with. It’s been over a month now since we left the centre and we still haven’t received our bond back. My emails are not replied to. This has been a disappointing moment, hopefully this will be acted upon.

I can’t speak highly enough of this childcare centre after visiting many around the Shire. The huge natural outdoor area including veggie garden and a resident rabbit. The well resources inside areas that are welcoming, quiet and organised. The wonderful caring, professional and dedicated staff…. I could go on ?
