Fr. Emmanuel is by far the most engaging and current priest I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. I’ve lived in 7 different countries and his messages are by far the most thought provoking and humbling.

I will ask though, could we please use the air conditioning between the months of October and March, if it’s not the heat it’s the HUMIDITY … please make it more comfortable for the parishioners.

Due to the geographical placement of the church it captures the hot air from valleys around it. The window design (bottom out) is flawed so it would be good if all doors are opened completely if Air Con is not needed. A sensible index of whether or not we should use the aircon is if parishioners are using the bulletin as a fan.

Also, it may be financially beneficial to introduce eftpos payment systems in the church as cash is slowly being faded out across Australia. It’s not only convenient but it’s literally an investment that pays for itself.

St Michael's Church is a wonderfully welcoming church and Father Emmanuel is very inspiring, gives thought-provoking homilies, has a nice clear loud voice, is very enthusiastic in his faith, and I love the idea that he can sing as well. Keep up the good work and let's hope the powers that be keep him at our parish in Meadowbank for many years to come. We must also pray for him.

Also I wish to reply to NPD's post. There are no moves by the government to phase out cash. Cash is still King!!
