Volunteering at St Lucy’s Siblings Day was a heartwarming and wholesome experience. To contribute to the learning and development of the students was very rewarding but also supporting the teachers and community of the school was incredibly meaningful.

Juanita and the team from St Lucy’s were very welcoming and supported us throughout the day. Time spent in the classrooms with students and teachers was fun and engaging. The school does an amazing job at giving each student the opportunity to learn and develop in their own way.

Thank you Juanita and St Lucy’s for a memorable day.

We had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at St Lucy's last Friday in support of their annual St Dominic's Day celebrations and it was truly an inspiring experience. The day was incredibly well organised, allowing us to engage with the students. We have a deep respect for the dedication and passion of the teaching staff, who make such a positive impact on the kids' lives. It was also exiting to see the new high school open which perfectly complements the existing primary school offering. We look forward to supporting St Lucy's in the future!

My Optus colleagues and I participated in a highly rewarding Corporate Volunteer Day at St. Lucy's a couple of weeks ago.

Our day consisted of attending assembly with the students, assisting the amazing teachers and therapists with classroom activities, creating sensory toy bags for 'story-time', working on an Art Room project, wrapping prizes for 'trivia' night' and assembling furniture.

We were supported every minute of the day and felt that our time was very well utilised. For anyone looking to take part in a corporate volunteer activity, I would highly recommend spending your time at St. Lucy's School - it will be one of the most rewarding days for your team!

St Lucy's has not only become home for my two kids who attend but to my whole family. St Lucy's is a school where kids can be themselves, explore, learn and grow. It's a safe space for them to gain independence.

The staff, teachers, aides, and volunteers, are what make this school so special. Their dedication to helping each child achieve their individual goals and be the best they can be, makes us feel so supported and hopeful for their futures. This is the support and community our family never knew we needed! St Lucy's you are amazing! ?

We have had the great luck to have secured a place at this school back in 2013 for our child who now attends high school at St Lucy's. St Lucy's has the most amazing teaching staff, great facilities, excellent support for families, sibling days, school holiday programs, lots of parent learning opportunities and workshops (therapeutic skills workshops like keyword sign, guardianship, post school options events), very considered delivery of curriculum. Thoroughly recommend this remarkable school.

Drama. Music. Arts. Swimming. Dance. These are only of the amazing classes that are available for all students at St. Lucy’s. I’m floored each time I see our students blossom & shine during these sessions proving what a well-rounded and strength-based education can do for children with additional needs. As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum, I go home each day inspired and armed with additional knowledge as my colleagues are well-trained, kind and dedicated individuals who truly want to make a difference in each student’s lives.
My hope is for more families to experience our wonderful community & see their children thrive in St. Lucy’s.

The first time I visited St Lucy’s was 15 years ago, and I have been a teacher there ever since! I love the school and its community, and I feel blessed to be able to work with such an incredible and dedicated staff. I am so grateful for all the students I have taught over the years and all they have taught me. I have seen St Lucy's change and grow to be the amazing school it is today, and I am thrilled that we are now a K–12 school. I think I’ll only leave St Lucy’s when I retire!!

A Heartwarming Experience at St. Lucy's School

As a recent volunteer at St Lucy's School's Junior Athletics day, I was truly moved by the warmth and inclusivity that radiated from every corner of the campus. The dedication of the teachers and staff in creating a nurturing environment for their students is truly commendable. Witnessing the joy on the children's faces as they participated in various activities filled my heart with immense happiness. St Lucy's School is more than an educational institution; it's a place where dreams are nurtured, talents are celebrated, and kindness thrives. I am grateful to have been a part of this remarkable experience, and I highly recommend St Lucy's School to other corporates seeking meaningful volunteering opportunities.
