Saint Francis College has faced criticism from students and parents regarding various aspects of its educational environment. One of the primary concerns revolves around the quality of teaching. Some students report that certain teachers lack engagement and support, leading to a diminished learning experience. This perception can contribute to a sense of disconnection and frustration among students who seek a more stimulating academic atmosphere. Additionally, the homework load has been a point of contention, with some students feeling overwhelmed by the volume or questioning the relevance of assignments. When homework does not feel meaningful, it can detract from students' motivation and overall educational experience. Another area of concern is the school's strict rules, particularly regarding dress code and cultural expression. The requirement to receive a red stamp for not wearing a hat or for donning certain cultural attire can feel punitive and counterproductive. Many students believe that these policies do not foster an inclusive environment and instead create unnecessary stress. Furthermore, the lack of respect for diverse cultural expressions can lead to feelings of alienation among students who wish to celebrate their identities. Overall, while Saint Francis College may have strengths, these issues highlight significant areas where improvements could be made. Students often desire a more supportive and understanding atmosphere that values both academic rigor and personal expression. Addressing these concerns could enhance the overall educational experience and create a more positive environment for all students. Engaging in open dialogues about these issues and implementing changes could lead to a more inclusive and effective learning environment that better serves the diverse student body.

The school is really bad, like the education is alright and some teachers are relatively alright, but there are so many rules that just don't make sense, like having to tie your hair up for girls who have hair longer than their shoulders, and you get in trouble for drawing on yourself it's such a stupid rule.

It is a good school that is being developed. Though it really depends on how your experience is if you spend time in the school as a student or opionion of school rules (e.g. uniform policy, diary ect) as a parent. The school is mostly positive though.

Positives
- Tidy Classrooms
- Easy to make friends.
- Workstations available.

Negatives
-Playground is usaully dirty.
-The school is not fully built. (eg, having to walk to one class to another)
-Unifrom can be considered expensive.

Overall its a good school, just make sure you are good with your teachers and if you can friends, then you should be fine. There are more positives and negatives listed but these are some of the significant ones. I won't list any of the teachers or assesments since it depends on the person.

The school of course is developing and hopefully will improve.

The school is excellent overall. St. Francis Catholic College makes the claim to be a diverse school at one time, yet it restricts students from wearing cultural henna or bracelets. In the past, there has been an incident that a teacher has cut a student's culturally significant bracelet, but the cause for this has not been made public. Furthermore, it is ridiculous that although teachers are seen strolling around with brightly or dyed coloured hair, their hair out, and coming to work with acrylic nails, we students are not permitted to do any of these things. I am confident that this is wrong because when students do it, they are given the explanation "Your hair is distracting me" or "Thats a warning, you are to remove them by tomorrow or next week."I believe that teachers and students should follow the same rules otherwise, kids would find ways to do things to avoid getting caught. Uniforms are quite expensive, which is reasonable as it is a private school. Everything is alright, except for the following mentioned above.

The school community is horrible. Treats everyone unfairly and literally gives detention for the worst reasons. Don’t care about racism other than black people. Has no respect for other cultures. Teachers are absolutely horrible. They give detention for the dumbest reasons and don’t give detention to people who actual done something bad. They don’t care about you at all. Absolutely terrible school
