not a good school, the teachers have became stricter and stricter each year about uniform policy which doesn’t make sense why. Getting students in trouble for little things such as wearing converses,hightop shoes, or even having multiple natural hair colours in their hair, this school cares more about their reputation than anything else. This school has also been racist to many black students as a couple years ago they got black boys in trouble for having braids in their hair as its “ not presentable” also getting the girls in trouble if they dont dye their hair to match their braids which is so strange as many girls constantly dye their hair and don’t get in trouble but then they get the black students in trouble. and not to forget the principal even has said the n word infront of an entire year group, I advise you to not send your children here as they don’t even care about your education but how the school is viewed. The classrooms are dirty and mouldy and the assistant principal shouldn’t have his position still

Can I just say , first experience into this school as a parent , I was greeted by Kylie Kirby who is such a God Sent!. She Was very welcoming and went beyond to help out where needed. Lovely lady! My daughter is where she needs to be, glad she finally has a placement after 3 years on the waiting list , just in time to start senior school.

If I could give 0 stars I would, this is a bad school, teachers care more about your uniform than your learning ,mental health, bullying or racism, granted there are a handful of good teachers most of them suck. Mr Thrum raves about the schools great reputation, but go to the school for one minute and you'll realise it isn't as good as it seems. He cares more about reputation then the health and happiness of the students. In multiple classroom there is mould that has been growing (FOR YEARS) and nothing is done about it! Even when it can cause respiratory issues.
If someone were to ask me if they should send their children here I would confidently say no.

I had just graduated last year In September. I struggled with chronic depression and the school knew that. I was told by some teacher I forgot her name she had asked me what comes first I said “my mental health” (I think she was there to idk get me through with my work and help with my mental health I don’t know) but then she just says “no school” I would have two ladies that were advised to me to see when I had a problem. They didn’t help at all I was not helped. I even placed an appointment with the careers adviser mrs may she never got back to me. I expressed how much of a struggle I was in and I did need a lot of help. Nothing was helped. Mr frankham was okay tho he just told me to not worry what my marks are and just to get through it. Besides that I was not helped and now I’m struggling with no job unsure what to do about tafe or uni and I am STUCK they also knew my family issues and how I would need a bit of help but I wasn’t helped. Now I am stuck trying to get through this mess by myself. I was told by mrs khalifa that the school is supposed to help and prepare you for what you’re going to do after school. I thought they would but they didn’t I had a bit of trust when I heard that but it was yet broken. The students who seem to be doing okay they get helped but people like me who have been really Deppressed and need the most help they just let us fend for ourselves. They don’t care they just care about the students who higher the schools reputation.

The assistant principal of this school is no where near as professional as he needs to be. Absolutely disgusting how he is still holding his position. This goes to other staff members as well, they are not meeting the standard. Another issue starting to rise is the lack of assistance towards students mental health. It has been disregarded to uphold their reputation. They do not care. Do not recommend.

I don't like this school one bit. Terrible services, terrible teachers and they are all of bad quality. The principal is the worst. He is no fun and when he comes to schools to convince them to go to St andrews, he lies and makes the kids say whatever he wants. There are plenty of other great schools in that neighbourhood such as ponds high, St John Paul 2 and St mark's catholic college. All these schools are better than there dirty, rotten school.
