Went to this school in 1959 when I was 11 years old and my parents were renting in Cronulla. Was only there for 9 months but it was the best school I have ever attended. A wonderful atmosphere of acceptance and teaching. They even let me wear my previous school's uniform to save my mother the cost of buying a new one because we were moving at the end of the year and they made sure I was not made to feel left out because of it. The St Joseph/Mercy nuns were the most understanding and compassionate nuns I had ever encountered, nothing like the Sisters of Charity at the following schools I went to, who were anything but charitable!
