This was my best and most beautiful hotel experience ever. Being in the bush with this southafrican inspired High End furniture was fantastic.
We used the sauna a lot and then swam in the cold pool in the rain, looking into the bush.
Everything was thoughtfully picked and curated, every last detail. The coffee table books, the scents in the bathroom, the swinging chair on the deck and the coffee machine with oat milk in our mini bar.

For a relaxing, nurturing and re-energising stay, Spicers Sangoma was just perfect. The chalets are nestled in Australian bush, beautifully appointed, with extremely comfortable beds, a deep bath - all immaculately presented and clean. The garden was spectacular (beautiful natives expertly tended by Jill - thank you). The food is exceptional - each course artfully presented, not heavy but light and healthy. And the service was friendly and authentic. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights here in the Chief Suite. The room was perfect for what we wanted, a relaxing 2 days to unwind from city life. An amazing private heated plunge pool part of the room, a fireplace to keep you warm on top of AC and underfloor heating, a fully stocked and replenished minibar full of goodies (AND ALL INCLUSIVE!) Top that off with an amazing sunrise and view each day, how can you complain.

We had a spa treatment during our stay, Kate and Katie were fantastic, knowledgeable in their trade, welcoming and kind.

The property is quiet, secluded and the onsite restaurant is top tier! The chefs have our highest praise!

I could go on forever but I must say, from meeting Kyle on our arrival, to dealing with all the staff on the premises, the chefs, the waiters and waitresses, the housekeepers…..the attention to detail and the service provided by all the individuals who work here is nearly unheard of. They truly go above and beyond and are the main reason for my review! I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and I would not hesitate to recommend this place!

My fiancé orchestrated an unforgettable proposal at the enchanting Spicers restaurant, and it was beyond my wildest dreams! It was our anniversary, and we decided to indulge in something special, escaping for a night away from the daily grind.

From the moment we stepped foot into Spicers, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality. The culinary delights were out of this world, with every dish surpassing the last. Even as someone who typically shies away from fish, I couldn't get enough of the market fish, and the Jelly Pop cocktail was an absolute delight.

But the real magic happened halfway through our exquisite seven-course meal. Stepping out onto the balcony, we were met with a breathtaking scene – a mesmerizing display of flickering candles, fragrant flowers, and a bottle of champagne glistening in the moonlight. It was there, in that intimate moment, that my partner dropped to one knee and asked me to spend forever with them.

Spicers went above and beyond to create the perfect ambiance for our proposal, from orchestrating the timing flawlessly to capturing priceless photos of the occasion. It was a moment so perfect, it felt like something out of a fairy tale.

Even though my excitement might have distracted me from fully savoring every bite of the delectable meal, We took home with chocolate-covered strawberries for my daughter, who's a strawberry fanatic.

Words can't express how grateful I am to Spicers for making our special moment truly magical. It's a memory we'll cherish forever.

Stayed here for two night for the mrs birthday, the food and wine selection is outstanding.

The rooms are amazing with huge bathtubs, we also indulged in the room service which was fantastic.

Mini bar is jam packed full of everything you could ever need.

The staff are a real credit to this business, they are so attentive and remember your names and wished my Mrs happy birthday on numerous occasions.

We also did a couples massage which is probably the best massage we’ve ever had.

Overall this place is worth every penny and we cannot wait to come back.

Great Bush-setting and Rooms.
Pity about the food!
We'd heard great things about the food but unfortunately ordinary food served 'with a flourish' does not make it good food.
Nice place to stay if you're not into food experiences as the bush setting and bush walks are lovely.
