A true Parisian, his classes focus on developing strong conversation within the group and I always leave class with some cool French history. Speak French Now is a fantastic French tutoring service, and I cannot recommend Gregory highly enough. I have done both individual and group lessons, and through these I have seen Gregory's natural talent for teaching both spoken French and technical aspects like grammar. My main priority was to improve my spoken French, so I have especially enjoyed the group classes as they are small in size, and allow each student to speak about everyday topics, as well as discuss the latest Podcast/learning material we studied at home. Gregory is very knowledgeable about French culture, which makes for very interesting and stimulating lessons. I have also enjoyed the convenience of Zoom classes this year, and I look forward to my future lessons!

I take regular 1:1 classes and I started with some knowledge of French but I had the goal to improve my conversation skills so that I can communicate well enough in a study/work environment. Having set that goal and a few months later, I feel so much more confident to converse now!

Gregory is very good in breaking down grammar, verb conjugations, and drawing links between words in English and French to help you better recognize patterns and similarities.

What I particularly enjoy about the lessons are the wide range of topics that can be discussed from history, arts and culture, taking about towns in France. Often he'd send extra materials like podcasts or videos to train your listening skills and increasing your exposure to French knowledge. He's also very accommodating to tailor lessons to cover the topics you'd like to focus on.

Overall, the lessons are very well organized, engaging, and adaptable to your learning style. Can't thank Gregory enough for the progress I've made. Highly recommended!

I have absolutely loved learning French with Gregory and I believe I have learnt so much in the past two and a half years. Gregory's style of teaching grammar and new concepts is very clear and well structured. He is a patient and kind teacher with an excellent sense of humour and an amazing knowledge of French history and culture. I also appreciated that Gregory created online flashcards and other exercises each week so that students could practise new vocabulary and grammar if they wished. Class sizes were small and every lesson was fun, enjoyable and worthwhile.
