I attended this property for an 7 day retreat and had an incredible experience. Each morning, I woke up to the soothing sounds of nature and birdsong—such a peaceful way to start the day. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms have been newly renovated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. A short walk leads to a beautiful creek, adding to the tranquility of the location. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway!

Such a lovely retreat center surrounded by nature and wildlife. Lee and his crew could not have been kinder or more accommodating. The venue was so lovely. The rooms were well appointed, clean, well sound insulated and had very comfortable beds. This is a perfect location for a blue mountains holiday or retreat. I could not recommend highly enough.

This venue is gorgeous, there are thoughtful pieces of intention to detail which really pull together a lovely, calm, oriental vibe. The surrounding nature, well-equipped rooms and lush common areas have a welcoming feel.
Lee the owner is an accommodating, friendly, polite, lovely gentleman - thanks for having us Lee.
I highly recommend this venue for your events, workshops, retreats and other needs.
And I personally loved meditating at the zen fish pond fountain 🐠

Had a 7-day group retreat here at Sinofield in February 2025. Lee and his team were so accommodating. The vibe is super calm and spacious, surrounded by nature, and the rooms newly renovated. Really looking forward to coming back.

Excellent retreat, located in natural environment yet close to popular cafes and shopping towns Katoomba and Leura. Easy drivable distance to Echo Lookout Point and other waterfall walking tracks.

Asian style, clean and comfortable rooms with ensuite, quality mattresses, loft beds and air conditioning for cold or warm nights.

Conference dinning room is comfortable with lounge chairs, long dinning tables easy for chitchats and outdoor tables for sunny days. Food arranged is freshly prepared and Nespresso coffees a must in the morning. Highly recommended with easy going reception.

A very clean retreat. The place was very quiet on most of the days we were there. The water from the shower took a while to heat up. The bathroom flooring can be warmed up with a flick of a switch.

I booked directly via the retreat’s website. Check in and out was a breeze.

The retreat is not that huge, but is big enough for a nice stroll along its paths.

Some of the facilities around the retreat are somewhat neglected, such as the playground, but the areas that matter were all generally clean and welcoming. There is also a small shared kitchen pantry that guests can use.

Having your own car would help to save time when visiting this area. However, there is a bus stop just outside the retreat, although I suspect the timing of the bus is not frequent.

Leura Mall, where you can find most of the eateries and shops is a short 5 minute drive away.

I would recommend this place if you like nature and quiet.
