what the heck is with the other reviews!!
No school is perfect but this school is close to it! the teachers do genuenly care for the students and other staff and they have advanced help for children the require more help. ive been at this school for 9 years and have learnt so much and got so many new relation ships that i cherish.
thankyou to the teachers that work so hard!

Shire Christian School has proven to be an utter disappointment on multiple fronts, but the lack of a canteen is by far the most egregious issue. It is absolutely unacceptable that a school in this day and age fails to provide a basic facility for students to purchase food. This glaring omission forces kids to starve if they forget their lunch or come from families that struggle to provide meals every day.

Imagine the distress of a child who realizes they have no food for the day. Instead of being able to buy a sandwich or a piece of fruit from a school canteen, they are left to go hungry. This is not only neglectful but borders on cruel. The school administration seems to have no regard for the well-being of its students. They are more concerned with upholding a facade of excellence rather than addressing the basic needs of their students.

The lack of a canteen is not a minor inconvenience; it is a fundamental failure. Schools are supposed to be a safe and nurturing environment for children, yet Shire Christian School can't even ensure that students have access to food. This oversight is a glaring indicator of their priorities and the overall lack of care for student welfare.

Shire Christian School's neglect in providing a canteen is an unacceptable oversight that leaves students hungry and unsupported. This issue needs immediate addressing to ensure that all children have access to basic necessities while at school. Until then, it remains a prime example of the school's failure to provide a suitable environment for learning and growth.

Not recommended, I absolutely would not bring my child to this school. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES!! They promise many things and provide not even basic teaching support or prevention from bullies and other mean children... again, DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!!

My three children went through this school in the 1980's and 90 's and we have always been very happy with the standard of education. The staff and atmosphere have been generally nurturing although nothing is ever perfect. My six grandchildren are now in this school and there are many children of ex students attending -this is a sign that most are confident of the quality of education and care provided.

I’ve been here for around 3 years now. The schools buildings are all brick and does not have a positive learning environment. The desks are just your average wooden ones and plastic chairs. Classrooms are dark and can alter a child’s learning experience. Most teachers are bad and some teachers are amazing. You just need to get lucky.. If I was going to put my child in this school I would most certainly not do it. There are way too many bullies and I always see people coming in and out with drugs. Do not bring your child here. He/she will get bullied and will get put down in class. Also the English department is one of the worst especially one teacher who I will not name. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL! Try out other schools. They say the new chrome books are going to be great for students but students hate them! Once again, do not bring your child to this school. Take this as a warning or you’ll be putting them in and taking them out a year later.

Highly dedicated staff, under the leadership of the principal. Really appreciate the Prep to Year 12 system, which helps to build a very close family community. It’s a great holistic education, setting our children up for their entire lives.

I was scarred and burned by the Humanities Department at this school who treated me with disrespect, scorn and were compassionless. I am a firm believer in Christ and to be treated by brothers and sisters in Christ in such an abhorrent manner deeply impacted my mental health, my faith and continues to give me traumatic flashbacks to this day. Not all, but a handful of the staff here employ emotional and religious manipulation to control the classroom and it is an incredibly bad reflection on God. I pity anyone who attends this school and apologise to anyone who has been turned away from Jesus because of their treatment by this school.
