I’d rate them 6 stars if I could. Genuinely care about kids and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us transition our 2 year old into daycare. Extremely clean and well run with a great group of other parents and kids.

I can highly recommend SDN North Sydney.

Everyone there is just so friendly!
They have very high staff retention rate as the staff are well looked after. Even the casual educators are there for many years.
This is important as it will provide a secure environment for your children to thrive in my view.
Happy educators, happy children.

They are very allergy aware (nut and egg free).
They will work closely with you and chef and do their own research to ensure your child is safe in childcare.

SDN is not-for-profit which means that they can invest more in the facility. They have huge outdoor area with lots of facility which is rare in North Sydney.
Children have plenty of opportunities to explore the nature and learn new things every week.

They always look for things to improve. They have implemented some measurement during lockdown to ensure the safety of children and staff.

They provide suggestion on child development. You can tell they genuinely care about the children.

They are very responsive on the communication.

Overall, I am very glad that I have chosen SDN for my child.

I am thrilled with SDN North Sydney. My daughter is in her first year at the centre and she is thriving! She has learnt so much during this year. She loves to go to play with her friends and she is very close to her educators. The centre staff knows every family and make you feel that you belong with the centre community. This feeling of togetherness with the centre and other families to me is very important for our family particularly during my daughter's early years.

I highly recommend SDN North Sydney! My daughter has just started primary school after 4 years at this centre and we could not have been happier with the care and quality of education provided by the wonderful team there, led by Carol. SDN North Sydney allows the children to develop a strong sense of self through the provision of a strong, caring and secure community and a place for all to belong. We will miss all of the staff at SDN North Sydney terribly, and are so grateful for the time that we had there.

My little one has been in SDN over two years. Principal Carol has initiated a special program to have a relatively stable shifts planned ahead so kids settle quickly to a familiar routine that really helped me to start with, they also have flexibility with 9-2pm program. Being to different Cc with my kids I would recommend SDN the most, not only the carers are very passionate and caring,always smiling, they have very structured learning plan all the way and when lil one started with preschool room, the education plan is so rich, they are learning different languages and cultures everyday. dancing and music, piano, are just one of the few to mention. Highly recommended!

My 3.5 yo son has been attending SDN for almost a year now and I've been delighted with the care and attention he's received by the educators there. Anna and Jo are exceptional in their approach to teaching, guiding and mentoring the children. My son even roleplays being at daycare when he's at home, he has such a good time there.
The educators have a great focus on child psychology and empowering the children with a voice, but setting boundaries of what is acceptable communication and behaviour. They nurture and encourage my son's interests and skills, and give us weekly updates on areas they are focussing on with regards to education. That being said, learning through play is a philosophy they have and the daily updates I receive show my son exploring new concepts or skills in fun and engaging ways.
Also - the outdoor area is huge! A lot of space to run and play, including a tree house, outdoor kitchen area, huge sandpit and lots of space for scooters and obstacle courses. My son absolutely loves going to daycare and often when I go to pick him up, he's not ready to leave as he still wants to play!
I absolutely recommend SND and will be enrolling my daughter there when she turns 1.

We've been members of the SDN community for five years now & thrilled with it for our kids. The educators are wonderful, warm, caring, always providing interesting and well thought through activities for the kids and taking the time to share insights from the day via an app and at pick-up.

All team members greet you with a smile and seem to know your kids regardless of the room they're in.

The rooms feature a variety of activities and equipment with items and areas refreshed and special 'themed' areas created which all add up to a stimulating and interesting space for the kids. Rooms and all other spaces are always very clean.

The food is excellent with good variety and feedback provided on how many serves your child eats daily.

The centre and broader SDN organisation provide excellent communication to parent both frequency and content. From staffing updates, to community initiatives, policy updates and information sessions. They excelled in their communication during the constantly changing situation of the pandemic.

SDN is a not-for-profit organisation.

Wonderful daycare. Amazing educators, one key educator for our little one to develop strong bond with, small groups, great leadership, happy staff and very low turnover, nice outdoor spaces and a wonderful learning environment. Highly recommend!
