Reader alert! Don't be put off by the term Philosophy. Its not exclusive nor super intellectual. The classes combine reading, discussion, mental exercises with a like-minded group led by a knowledgeable philosopher/mentor.
PPA teaches how to use the wisdom of others (ancients) to help unlock the wisdom inside to enhance your life's experience.
My life has improved immeasurably. I am calmer, more communicative with a far deeper appreciation and gratitude for all in my life. And my memory has improved remarkably.
Give it a go...wish I had decades ago! I start 4th year soon.
