Bad experiences all around. Some parts of being in this school are cool like band concerts and dance recitals but academically speaking the teachers don't care they just want to clock in and clock out. They always wait until your kid is failing by the third qtr to tell the parent. Yesterday Sunday Mrs. Nolan sent an email at 8pm to tell the parents that there was an assignment due today and it's the last day to turn it in before the qtr is over. Maybe she should've told us on Friday not Sunday night during bed time hours.

It’s just simply a wonderful school and Mrs. Griffin is one of the best principles I’ve ever met. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers there and the good leadership.

This is my 7th year going to Rochelle and it's also my 1st ever school I went to. I've never left and never will because it's a great learning environment and has great arts and I currently rake band and the band director Mr.Bryant is awesome. The teachers I've been with are great so far. And I know you'll like it here. They do their best give us a good education and a god experience with the arts. And they have an wide variety of cool and amazing electives for the M.S. kids.

Excellent School experience. 1st grade and 4th gr, both kids attended since K. The Arts program choices are wonderful with teachers that love what they do. Many performances and after school activities for all the kids, from theater, to music, dance, band, orchestra. They even have some sports programs as well as robotics and chess clubs. Many great improvements since Mrs Ward became principal 3 yes ago. The roaches in cafe were taken care of and the cafe rec'd a complete makeover during the summer (2017) along with new tables ,paint and larger capacity fridge/freezer. If you join the PTA and become involved at school thru volunteering your child's and your experiences will increase tenfold for you as well as the school.

Worst school ever! Horrible Administration, Horrible teachers! They are not there to care for or teach our kids. But definitely seems like the are in the business for belittling, degrading, and trying to make it hard for our kids to progress and prosper. Instead of their goals being to help kids learn and succeed they are about seeing how petty and disrespectful to our kids that they can be. They definitely are not a school who cares about kids of color. As long as they can keep them out of school by suspending them or making the kids so aggravated and annoyed that they hate going to school makes it easier for them to not have to deal with them. Horrible place for a child to have to be especially when the staff is so rude and could care less.

I went to this school for 7th grade, and I’m most likely going back for 8th as well. Don’t listen to the people about roach infestation, bc I went there for the 2017-2018 school hear and only saw about three roaches. Most of the teachers care about your learning, but miss Angela (miss Gonsolves) is THE best! Some of the teachers though only care about the punishing system, which was not a problem for me, but some of my friends had different teachers. The busses are not so good. Some of the drivers will give you a refferal just for laughing, and they will constantly have their eyes off of the road to try to carb people and get them in trouble... I also wish we would have the choice to have a study hall or homework class instead of so many electives. I have 4 electives... oh yeah, also the cussing. The teachers don’t seem to notice, but my advice is not to let it temp you. The school is fine, just don’t get on the teachers or staffs bad side.
