We are extremely happy with the piano lessons Fortepiano Academy provides for our 2 children. Their teacher (Miss Liana) shows a great deal of patience as our girls occasionally struggle with some challenging aspects of theory, and she knows how to get the best out of them.

Our eldest has had piano lessons prior, we felt she wasn't growing and reached out to Fortepiano Academy and haven't looked back. We have seen an accelerated growth in her piano understanding from reading music, posture, pressure on the keys pretty much all aspects and this was achieved in a short time frame.

We 100% recommend Miss Liana & Fortepiano Academy to anyone looking for a piano school & teacher that provides an overall excellent service. We cannot praise her enough in what we've seen in the development and growth of our two children.

Liana is very understanding and prides herself in teaching. Her lessons are superb and timetables are quite flexible. She is patient and breaks down any problems that you might encounter, working through it with you until you full understand it. She can instantly notice mistakes when you are playing and makes sure that you don't develop any bad habits.

In my 2 years with Liana as my teacher, I have greatly improved my ability to play the piano. From my scales to my pieces, I have only improved with each lesson. Through Liana's teaching of techniques and the breakdown of individual sections, I now much better understand what I am playing as well as the emotion and meaning behind it.

I would highly recommend Liana lessons to anyone. Her ability to cater for all levels is excellent as her way of teaching allows for beginners to quickly progress while helping intermediate-expert level players refine their playing skills.
