As Dinah Washington sung, 'what a difference, a day makes'. this morning my fjr was stripped back to the frame, secondary police harness and equipment all gone, tidied up. Now single seat going back on. Tantalising close. Excellent job.

Alex's, knowledge and eye for finding the correct details when restoring and converting motorcycles is second to none.
I would highly recommend contacting him and discussing the process his business offers in partial or full restoration of your prized ride.

I had been considering an ex police FJR1300 for sometime but was getting put off with the single seat and daunting task to convert it into two. Then I joined the NSW FJR forum and heard of Con Plod. I bought the bike and contacted him. From thereon it was just a matter of time to get all the parts in and his availability to get the bike converted to civilian bike. He kept me updated all throughout the process. My bike looks awesome now and ready for pillion. You can't go wrong with him and he should be your one stop go to man to get the seat conversion.
