I did flood rescue training here and the facility was amazing. Training to do this without such a facility would be extremely difficult. It was well managed and quite an experience. It’s good to see infrastructure from the olympics really getting long term utility.

Had a wonderful time at this facility. Was amazed when the water 💧 was released. The cafe wasn't open as it was Xmas but the facilities were great. Plenty of seating in the shade to watch the kayaks navigate the white waters. Tour groups can participate in the rapids ride. No cost to watch so great for the family. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended

Spent an afternoon here for a self guided rafting experience. And what an awesome experience it was! Very accommodating despite our very last minute booking enquiry. Great staff at the office, as well as the instructors who were great fun. Got flushed out of the raft several times over but that made the experience only more fun! Highly recommended and will come again.

Just finished the Swift Water Awareness course. It was an amazing experience that helped build my confidence in moving water and on the shore as a rescuer.
The cafe is pricey for what you get, I’ll bring my own lunch next time. Facilities are modern and great, showers have good temperatures and toilet area is clean. The venue is open to the public so it makes for an awesome walk watching rafters fall into the rapids.

I can only speak from a kayakers perspective but Penrith Whitewater Stadium was fantastic. Upper section has some fun 2/2+ features with a hop out point for those not keen on the lower section. The lower section is more 3, though at low water levels some holes get a bit sticky. Staff were very friendly and one upside to sharing the course with rafters is that you have someone to throw you a rope if (when) you swim...just try not to get in their way 😛. Food at the cafe was also good and reasnobly priced.
