Honestly the best service I’ve ever received at an Officeworks ever! Ruby and her colleagues in the printing area helped me enormously to make the most perfect wedding ceremony booklets for our big day. She took so much time to go through everything with me and personally made sure the booklets were exactly what I wanted and that they all came out perfectly. Cannot thank the team enough, highly recommend their printing services

A lady called Tayla in the printing department was very helpful when I needed urgent printing for a funeral. She helped me choose paper and finish and check everything looked perfect before printing. Then she got it printed as quickly as she could so I didn’t have to wait very long. She was kind and professional.

Phone customer service is unnecessarily hard, perhaps by design, and the staff members tend to be quite rude. There are three options you can press:
1. Product information (but they say visit our website)
2. Printing
3. Click and collect

If you want to talk to a real person to get assistance, you have to go via the printing option and apologise for pressing the wrong button.

The staff have been quite short and rude, consistently blunt and unhelpful when asked questions. They've lost a lot of business by virtue of how hard it is to talk to someone in the store. Their attitude is that I should come into the store, but why would I until I was confident they sold the item I need and that it met my needs?

Couldn’t have had a worse experience with this store.

All the staff I have had dealings with, have next to no idea on customer service or how their store operates.

When being passed onto the managers, they also seem to have zero knowledge or understanding how to service a local customer.

Their print desk have given me a different response every time I have followed up on an order, to the point where my order ended up in Rockhampton and I was asked if I was able to get there to pick it up (14 hours away from Newcastle). When I informed them I wouldn’t be driving to Rockhampton I was informed that they were sorry but there was nothing that could be done.

Purchased an iPad from there on the same day and couldn’t have been given worse support. No staff had any form of idea on what they were actually selling.

I’d recommend to either shop at Kotara or another chain completely as it’s evident through other customers reviews that this experience isn’t out of the ordinary.

Helpful staff, reasonable levels of stock, esp computer tech stuff, they have 85 to 90% of stuff, and what they dount have seems to be replenished fairly promptly ie circa <= 1 week.

Needed something before Wednesday and the site said click and collect Tuesday so I purchased. After payment I got a mail saying collect Thursday! Called the store who promised a manager would look into it and call me back next day but she did not. Ended up being late for my customer.

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! i called and was placed on hold for about 3m, they then answered and placed the phone on their counter just to stop the phone from ringing.. i actually thought they would pick it up and start talking,10m later, nothing. These people are an absolute joke, im a promoter and I need ALOT of printing for events.Thanks for showing me that i should NEVER EVER go to Officeworks, especially Newcastle West. I will definitely spread the word.
