I highly recommend NumberWorks'nWords tutoring in Chatswood because Stephen Yuen, who runs the centre, combines fun with learning so that my daughter enjoys going to her tutoring class each week. Stephen has a passion for learning that permeates the entire centre, and I get a buzz whenever I drop off my daughter for her classes. We have tried other tutoring centres in Chatswood and found them lacking that "x" factor that develops a person's lifelong love of learning. This centre does not simply focus on getting a child into a particular school or grade but on teaching them that learning can be fun, and when you do well, you feel good about yourself. Which, in turn, creates your desire to learn more. This is a lifelong gift and worth the investment. To see my daughter tell me that she "loves maths" is impressive, considering I internalised my self-view that I was not good at maths. It shows you what brilliant, caring tutors can do for young people's self-esteem. This is a worthwhile investment for the young person in your life.
