teacher don’t do anything about bullying and there are a lot of people who get bashed and it’s not pretty. don’t send your children here.

attended this school from 2016 to 2018, and can say without a shadow of a doubt, it is the most horrible school, i've ever experienced, teachers underqualifed and understaffed. I recall many teachers having serious drug problems. Keep your children away!!

I have put 2 children through this school and I’m happy with the school, my children love the school. Other reviews talking about fights and suicide are fake, neither of my children have ever experienced fights or uncaring staff.
Uniforms are way overpriced, that is about the only negative for the school.

lots of vaping and cleaners need to clean better especially the boys pdhpe bathrooms (student) most teachers are nice and no help with bullying problems (not me but 1 student in particular)

I'm an English/Sports teacher at this inner city comprehensive high school and I love teaching here. The number one reason has to be its amazing diversity. We have kids from high middle class local suburbs mixing with kids from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and a number of out of zone students from all around the lower Hunter Valley. This diversity is a representation of life itself, and I enjoy the fact our pupils don't live in a fish bowl or an overly homogeneous school. Newcastle High is a great school!!
