Thanks to Alana and the coaches for making the kids feel welcome at jujitsu. My kids don’t usually like organised classes, but they really enjoyed learning new fitness skills without feeling pressured or discouraged, and the class is a great workout. The teacher, Alana, had a lovely teaching style that is fun and encouraging. I like that the kids start with a warm up, learn some new moves, and finish by respecting each other with a handshake. I was quite amazed to see the kids get stuck into the wrestling moves on their first lesson. The whole experience was very positive and they are excited to learn more. Thank you.

My son has just started the kids jujitsu program. He loves it so much and wishes he could go everyday. The coaches are very knowledgeable and are very nurturing . Its really affordable and the kids classes are at a great time too! Highly recomend !

Both my son and I attend the gym.
My son does the kids bjj classes and has always has such a great experience. I have also recently joined in to the kickboxing classes and the bjj classes. All of the coaches are incredible, kind and inclusive of all members. It’s been a great experience gaining fitness, learning technique and also new friendships.

For a small country town like Kempsey, this gym far exceeds expectations. A great space with good, passionate coaches and good community. Everything you need from a martial arts gym.
Whether you’re considering jumping in for the first time or if you’re experienced, this is the place for you.
Glenn and the team made me feel very welcome and this is where I will be continuing my martial arts journey for the foreseeable future.

I can also say good things about MVMA. Glenn and Alana are excellent coaches who are friendly and welcoming to all new students. It’s an amazing and positive atmosphere and you’ll get the best workout from the BJJ and kickboxing classes.
