I can't lie - the walk up to Muttonbird island isn't accessible to everyone. It is incredibly steep in places - but at least give it a go. The views are spectacular and the conservation work is vitally important.

Great place to learn about muttonbirds and see some of their burrows. Also quite a pleasant walk through the island to check out the scenery. The path is well paved but does have some steep inclines.

The start and finish of the track was quite steep. The addition of the board walk across the top of the island was great to preserve the muttonbird burrows and natural environment. Spectacular views in all directions from up the top.

Plenty of parking near the marina or even near the jetty. It is a short steep walk at the beginning, there’s benches to sit and admire the view or if you need to rest. There are information plaques as you’re walking with gives you plenty information about the birds and land scapes of Coffs Harbour. It’s about a 2km return walk, beautiful scenery. Sometimes you may see whales during mating seasons.

Beautiful view and great walk. Great place to watch the sun rise on the coast. Saw a group of dolphins cruising along the rocks this morning, very interesting. Must visit if anyone comes to Coffs
